This gym has it all, indoor track, machines, free weights, basketball court, heavy bags, speed bag, ect... There are plenty of machines available as well so you really don't have to wait around which is nice! There is a lot of cardio machines as well! It's also really convenient for anyone who lives on base and the hours of operation are really good too! Great gym and staff!
There's always water on the floor going in the lockers when people shower. Basketball area and men's locker room stinks! But they do clean it every night. There's two guys in big pickup trucks that works out late at night and they don't wipe the equipment or put away the items that they used. You would see their sweat marks on the bench!!
Why do the showers never get hot, and the sauna does not get hot either. They put in a lot of work to update the west gym, but the layout is tragic. If you go into the women's dressing room, if there are 6 women inside the locker room putting bags up and using a locker it's already too crowded. Plenty of bathrooms and showers. The facility is great overall, indoor track, weights, machines, nice equipment.
Excellent facility for basic training. No nonsense fitness area. This is a No frills, get to it and go environment. Enjoyed it!
Women's locker room sauna never seems to be functional. Also, lately the 24/7 unmanned access hasn't been working, driving all the way out here to workout and receive the light green, but the door remains locked...it is frustrating to say the least.
