Nice big gym with new equipment and a range of fitness class that run throughout the day. There's an inside and outdoor swimming pool, friendly staff and a creche for the little ones. I like the soft play area, I think it's a great idea for children to play whilst the adults have a coffee and food.

The facilities are okay. But the way they treat you is not good. One thing they may not tell tennis members is that throughout the summer they consistently block all the courts out with team matches. Leaving paying members without courts. Not great and they don't give a toss about helping you either. If you raise an issue they won't do anything about it

Been a member for some years now and facilities have improved somewhat since David lloyd took over including the staff but they have in my opinion plastered over the cracks, the devil is on the detail. My biggest gripe is despite having family changing rooms you still get young girls in the male changing rooms with their dad's, totally unacceptable. I have four daughters and I would never of dreamed of doing that when they were small. Come on dl get your s..t together.

Refusing to operate in accordance with their own terms and conditions when giving notice to terminate membership on medical grounds. I provided an MRI scan confirming shoulder bursitis and other conditions that prevent use of the gym and heavy equipment, yet the "membership supervisor" refuses to acknowledge their own terms and conditions for termination on medical grounds. So, should it assist anyone else, I will quote as follows: at 15.1(b) David Lloyd terms state: "Your membership will end on the last day of the month in which we receive your notice or your suitable evidence" I gave sufficient notice and evidence and yet they are still trying to squeeze extra fees out of me before letting me go. What's the point? It leaves a bitter taste and only serves to encourage me to tell everyone I meet how utterly unreasonable they are - hence this review. Not to mention the bathroom hygiene leaves an awful lot to be desired for upwards of £120 / month.

expensive gym be careful entering into a contract with these, they have a huge team of sharks waiting for any excuse to take your money. legal team standing by threats up to 7 times a week, even prepared to lie to you in order to make you pay. i was in the right and it took 3 months of solid threats on a daily bases before they admitted to me they was wrong. Don,t give into them fight for your rights
