Outstanding Mysore-style yoga class. Super knowledgeable teacher, with a relaxed vibe. Teaches ultra traditional style if that's what you're looking for, or will tailor the class to fit your goals. Additionally, the studio is beautiful. Can't beat it.

After taking class at several studios in Chicago and the suburbs, when I found Moksha a new it would remain my home studio. The teachers are compassionate and well-trained, the studio is clean, roomy and beautiful, and I immediately feel the positive energy when I arrive. I love that each teacher has a distinctive style and that Moksha recently added virtual classes! I highly recommend taking class here, especially from the owner Daren who teaches challenging and unique classes!

ScayUM UHlerrtt! Take heed yogis, we arrived at 1032 for a 1030 class and were unable to get into the building. We buzzed and buzzed and called and called and received no response. Luckily, my girlfriend had the big brains to ring other businesses in the same building and one of them, an acupuncturist, let us in, ten minutes after we'd shown up. Once inside, we got to the yoga studio's door only to find it LOCKED! Foiled again, we knocked and knocked and knocked and knocked, paused, and then knocked some more. Only after ten minutes and my girlfriend literally shaking the door, did someone come to the door. Don't get me started on this lady. She was the desk receptionist but had been taking the class, through another door in yet another room. Not unusual for a yoga studio to allow it's staff to take the classes, but they always wait for all of the attendees to show up before going in. Note: I had reserved tickets to this class for my partner and I in advance, since it was a valentines day special partner yoga, so the studio knew we were coming. After telling us that it is a studio norm for their receptionists to abandoned their post at exactly 10:30, she proceeded to offer the following 'apology' when my girlfriend told her no one had answered the phone or buzzer: "I'm sorry you feel that way" before laughing. If we hadn't been let in by another business we literally wouldn't have been able to attend an event I'd paid for several weeks in advance. What cruelty, in a yoga studio on Valentine's day! P.S. Karen was a great instructor and we highly recommend you take her community class. The space was also nice and light. Just don't be late!
