I had a fantastic experience at White Dog cafe. The food was spectacular. In particular, the deviled eggs were delicious! The decor really stood out too. Great care has been put into decorating the venue and it stands out as unique and fun. Very eye catching as you walk through the different rooms. If I'm ever in Philly again I will be back!
Food was pretty good. Ordered a burger medium rare but right in the middle was raw. It was tasty tho. Omg the bread basket and apple butter was to die for. Seafood primavera was mediocre. Great margaritas! The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was lovely, cozy and clean and cute! Bathroom is small but clean. Everyone of the staff from seating to server to the bus boys and all other servers were fantastic. I had my toddler with me and he started to explore some and everyone was understanding and nice. The way they maneuvered their way around a crawling child was amazing 🤩 Sry about that btw. I try my best with him as he's autistic and gets antsy. Id HIGHLY recommend this place. Would like to go again without the kid 😄
Glad I stopped in for a hearty breakfast! The restaurant has a fun, quirky atmosphere with lots of small rooms, which makes it feel like a maze and gives each table a bit more privacy. There were also dogs around, which added to the charm. I ordered the steak and eggs - the portion size was generous and the steak was cooked perfectly. The staff were chatty, friendly, and made the experience even better. I'd definitely come back again. 🍳🥩
What a fabulous atmosphere. Loved all the rooms, the seating was fast butter, a cozy, intimate feel. The waitstaff super attentive and friendly. The food was fresh, large portions, delicious but inconsistent in flavor ( 3 had the special pasta dish of the night and all 3 of us experienced that the dish had variations of the ingredients/taste: heavy on rosemary, high salt content, no lemon). We loved that the resturant uses fresh, local ingredients and announces the location/ farm in which sourced.
