Central Park Gym

I trained here for three weeks, and did 15-16 workouts. Paid 7,000 lira's (for 1 month). For those planing a swimming workouts, pool is approx 10m long. It would not be fair to rank the gym and management against international standards as in that case 1 or 2 starts would be given, so I am giving it 3-stars as its the biggest Gym in the area and will do the job regardless being recreational or pro. Gym facility (space/equipment/options for training) 5/5 Gym staff (reception/sales/trainers) 2/5 Gym condition & maintainance 3/5 Few downfalls...they start switching off electricity 15' before closing time, I had situation that power went off while I was on cross trainer (if it was a treadmill and higher speed it could be so dangerous) without warning. Personal Trainers walk around with their nose up, obviously lacking basic training. Also, when i bought membership opening/closing hours were same for all facilities, but few days later they changed (shorten) opening hours of cross fit studio and pool. AC is not bad in the gym, but not working in shower, poll, and other areas.

My wife and I joined this “elite” Central Park Gym on February 2, 2024. Today is Monday, May 13, 2024. In this period of more than 90 days, there wasn’t even one day where both the Steam Room and Sauna were working. In fact, the Steam Room and Sauna have been out of service for one week. I began to write a review last week when both the Steam room and Sauna were out of service, however, I decided to delay my review to give the management the benefit of the doubt and give them a chance to make the necessary repairs. Well, a week later, and still both units are still out of service. I personally can’t use many of the Gym’s equipment due to a back injury and so I use the Steam Room and Sauna every time I’m at the gym. I see advertisements on Instagram bragging about Central Park Gym as the Elite Gym in Antalya. Frankly, you can’t be an Elite Gym when the entire facility is not in Top Notch condition. Furthermore , there are a couple of cycling machines that have been out of service since we joined. The pictures I’ve included in this post are two different machines. Again, you can not be an Elite Gym when such equipment stays out of service for 90+ days. I’m disappointed and extremely dissatisfied with my membership at Central Park Gym. Honestly, for the dues that are being charged here, we’re not getting our money’s worth. Another point, now the weather is beginning to get hot, and more air conditioning units are most definitely needed in the workout area. One element that is key to success is in an operation like this is: Hospitality is Totality… here at Central Park Gym, which is certainly not the case. I completely understand that equipment breaks down every once in a while. However, it has become a normal occurrence at Central Park Gym.
