After taking Months on deciding whether I should try CrossFit , The regret I have is that I shouldn't have waited so long. Its a motivating and supporting environment where everyone is encouraged to be the best versions of themselves. Darren's coaching and guidance supports proper technique and form foremost whilst still testing our physical limits to get fitter, stronger , and healthier in a safe and sustainable way. Darren's coaching is clear and assertive yet he knows every one of his athletes and shows care and empathy for each and every one of them . Programs are well thought out, easy to understand and varied and the same workout caters for the experienced cross-fitter and rookies alike. CrossFit builds strength, endurance and flexibility and after trying circuit style training for a few years where boredom and lack of proper coaching was significant, I'm glad I took the step into this new and fulfilling dimension where the results will undoubtedly follow if you have the correct mindset and attitude. But most importantly, we have fun, we laugh at ourselves we make new friends and we support each other no matter what our goals are . (Minh Nguyen )
I have been a member at CrossFit AERE for about 6 months now. I love seeing the results I get from working out but being a part of this family has changed my life and my mindset towards myself. I would recommend CrossFit AERE for anyone, no matter your fitness level!
Crossfit Aere is by far one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to. My husband is from Adelaide and this is the gym we go to every time we come back to visit. Darren has well thought out programming and gives great advice/technique corrections. I love this gym and the people that go to it, you’re guaranteed for a great workout and good company!
Such a supportive environment for beginners through to elite athletes. Darren’s knowledge and programming is next level! A box full of epic humans that all love see you succeed
I started joined CrossFit AERE after a mate at work suggested I come with him one morning and that was October 2018. I was nervous and honestly scared initially but as soon as I walked into the gym I felt super comfortable and at ease, I’ve always been short, small and gyms had always intimidated me. Darren and all the regular morning crew were so welcoming and helpful, they very quickly became like family. CrossFit AERE has definitely changed my life, not only physically but mentally. I never knew I could push myself the way I do now, every session Darren designs is different and exciting and the crew make it a fun and social environment too. It soon became apparent CrossFit wasn’t just short term, it was going to be apart of my daily routine. Darren is amazing, always helping and modifying workouts for you as I needed. There is such a stigma that you need to be fit to start, that could not be more wrong. I was not fit at all when I started, but with commitment and drive I am the fittest I have ever been. I now cannot imagine my life without CrossFit or the people I have met along the way. I am stronger than I ever knew I could be, mentally and physically, and loving every aspect of my life.
