Sportska Akademija Kočović

Beograd, Serbia

Sportska Akademija Kocovic is on Bulevar Mihajla Pupina in Belgrade, inside a shopping centre. It holds a 4.8 rating from 40 Google reviews. Before you rely on that, look at the dates: three of the four written reviews are from 2018, and the newest is from August 2020. Nobody has written about this place in nearly six years.

The Sample Has A Six-Year Hole

Three reviews from 2018. One from August 2020. Nothing since.

That matters more than it sounds. Six years is enough for a gym in a shopping centre to change its equipment, its coaches, its pricing, its lease, or to stop existing. The 4.8 describes a place as it stood before the pandemic.

The 2020 review is positive, so I've no reason to think anything went wrong. I just can't tell you any of it still applies.

Free Parking, And That's Not Nothing

A reviewer in May 2018: "Big and stylish gym in shopping mall. Free parking space."

Free parking at a Belgrade shopping centre gym is a genuine, checkable perk, and it's the sort of practical detail most reviews skip entirely. If you drive to train, that's your answer, subject to it being eight years old.

Being inside a mall cuts both ways, mind. Convenient if you're combining errands. Less appealing if you want to be in and out at 06:00, and mall gyms are often bound by the centre's own hours, which nobody here mentions.

The 2020 Review Compares Branches

A reviewer in August 2020, translated from Serbian: "The cleaning staff only work well here (unlike in Zemun), it's superbly clean! Good coaches, especially personal training with Oliver, a great girl."

That's the most useful review on the page, for two reasons.

First, it's a branch comparison. This reviewer has been to the Zemun location and rates this one's cleanliness higher. Someone comparing two sites of the same academy is a better witness than someone comparing nothing.

Second, it names a personal trainer with an actual opinion attached. Nobody else names anyone.

The flip side is what it implies about Zemun, and I'll leave that alone. One person's view of another branch's cleaners isn't something I'll amplify into a verdict on a place I know nothing about.

The Older Praise

A reviewer in November 2018: "Best gym ever even my trainer is the best one I ever had and they also have all the necessary equipment and the best of all it isnt crowded."

Another: "One of the most beautiful gym in town. Clean."

Not crowded, good trainers, clean, well equipped, attractive space. Consistent, but thin, and again: written in 2018.

Notice what nobody mentions across the whole sample. No classes. No prices. No opening hours. No description of what "sports academy" actually means here, whether that's a gym floor, coached programmes, youth sport, or all three. The name suggests something more structured than a commercial gym, and I can't confirm what.

What's Missing

No phone number in the listing. No opening hours. No pricing.

The site is kocovic.rs, which is where a timetable and rates would live, and given the age of this sample I'd treat that as the source rather than anything on this page.

Bulevar Mihajla Pupina 4, Belgrade.
