Fit20 Eindhoven Centrum

Eindhoven, Netherlands

A gym where a "workout" is 20 minutes, once a week

That's not a typo, and it's the first thing you should understand before judging the 4.7 across 26 ratings. Fit20 is a franchise method: one 20-minute, high-intensity strength session per week, supervised one-on-one by a trainer, on a booked appointment. The Eindhoven Centrum studio is tagged as a fitness center and physiotherapist both, which fits - this is slow, controlled strength training aimed at people who want results without living in a gym.

The reviews are strikingly consistent because they're rating a specific promise. A five-year member in November 2024 wrote the most detailed one: "noticeably more muscle strength, easily walking 20 km with good running form, significantly improved digestion, no more back pain, being able to easily walk on the beach with a 12 kg grandchild on my back." Whether or not you buy every claim, that's a real person describing years of a specific routine - the sort of testimony I find more convincing than a one-line rave.

Who's actually reviewing this

Pay attention to who shows up in the reviews, because it explains the near-perfect scores. A member (November 2024) said he'd tried regular gyms but found "too many machos," and now, at 70, feels "fitter, stronger, happier" (translated from Dutch). Another (November 2024) described her husband with a physically demanding job having "far fewer complaints regarding his knees and joints." This is a selective crowd: older adults and people managing joint issues, for whom a supervised 20-minute session is the whole appeal. The 4.7 is their verdict, and it's a fair one for that audience - just know that's the audience.

What the average is measuring

Twenty-six ratings at 4.7, and the written reviews name their trainers - Dennis and Emiel appear more than once - which tells me the coaching relationship is the product here, not equipment variety. When people rate a named coach they see weekly, scores run high. That's honest satisfaction, not inflation. Just don't read it as a verdict on a big equipment selection, because that isn't what Fit20 sells.

What's missing

No price anywhere, and with a franchise appointment model that matters - this is a subscription, not a day pass, and none of the reviews say what it costs. The hours on file are limited (weekday mornings, closing early on Tuesday and Friday, no weekend), consistent with an appointment-only studio. Nothing states whether there's a minimum contract. Isn't cost-per-session exactly what you'd want to know before signing up for a once-a-week model?

Who it's not for

Anyone who wants to train several times a week, pick their own program, or wander a floor of machines. Fit20 is deliberately the opposite: one short supervised session, one trainer, one appointment. If you love long self-directed workouts, this will frustrate you.

FAQ

How often do you train at Fit20?

Once a week, for a supervised 20-minute strength session by appointment.

Is it good for older people or those with joint issues?

The reviews skew that way - several members in their 70s and people managing knee or back problems describe it positively. It's built around low-volume, controlled strength work.

What does it cost?

No review or listing states a price. Because it's an appointment-based subscription, contact the studio directly for rates.

Fit20 works for me, and my chair massages keep me injury-free all day long! 😊💪 I'll keep doing this for as long as possible. Excellent guidance, once a week. Highly recommended!

Fit20 really works, with just 20 minutes of practice per week. The only place you're allowed/should fail (your muscles)! A dedicated personal trainer who coaches you positively on pace, posture, and rhythm, and pushes you to do more than you think you can, week after week. My benefits after 5 years of Fit20: noticeably more muscle strength, easily walking 20 km with good running form, significantly improved digestion, no more back pain, being able to easily walk on the beach with a 12 kg grandchild on my back, and making household and gardening tasks easier. I recommend it to everyone!

I have been a Fit20 fan for quite some time. This is because we achieve results every week by performing the exercises. And certainly because of the (long-term) results: better fitness and stronger muscles and joints. My husband experiences far fewer complaints regarding his knees and joints since he started Fit20 (he has a physically demanding job). We are well guided and coached by Dennis and Emiel. We are very satisfied and definitely recommend Fit20.

A fantastic formula that's truly sustainable. Noticeable and visible results after just a few months. Get stronger, fitter, and more toned with 20 minutes of intense training once a week.
