Vilnius, Lithuania
Temporarily closed. Google currently flags this listing as closed. Call or check the official site before visiting.

Before anything else: this listing's own data sends conflicting signals about whether Impuls Vienuolio g. is still open. One field marks it temporarily closed; a separate, deprecated field marks it permanently closed, and the two don't fully agree. I'm not going to declare this gym closed on that basis alone - confirm current status directly through Impuls's website before making plans. What follows describes the gym as five reviewers experienced it between 2018 and 2020.

A Health Concern Worth Reading Carefully

Lucifer Morningstar's review, one star, raises the most serious complaint here: "Hazardous place with poor ventilation and misplaced air cooling units - colds, viral infections or meningitis are a real threat, though the staff are friendly and the location is good." I want to separate what's checkable from what's overstated. Poor ventilation and awkwardly placed air conditioning units are specific, verifiable facility conditions - worth asking about directly. The claim that this creates a meaningful meningitis risk specifically is a significant overstatement of how that illness actually spreads; meningitis is not something poor gym ventilation typically causes or transmits the way a common cold might. I'd treat the ventilation complaint as the real, checkable part of this review, and the meningitis reference as this reviewer's own alarm rather than an established medical risk.

A Detailed, Practical Account of the Rules

Linas Zajankauskas's review, four stars, is the most useful for understanding how the gym actually operates: "They limit daily visits to one and no longer than 3.5 hours long. If you overstay, and that includes closing times, they charge per minute, minus a 5-minute grace period. Closing times are relatively early in the evening. You don't need a lock, but bring your towel, water, soap." That's a specific, actionable set of rules worth knowing before your first visit - a time cap with a real financial penalty for overstaying, even accidentally past closing.

He also describes the building itself: "Used to be a restaurant in Soviet times and then a casino, but the gym is spread out over three floors and has good quality weights, kettlebells, punch bags as well as two studios." His one complaint is specific and unresolved: "I'm taking one star off because their elevator had been out of order for months, but they have no sign." An elevator out of service for months without any posted notice is a real accessibility concern worth asking about directly if mobility matters to your visit.

What Regulars Praised

K Khm's review is the most enthusiastic: "I've tried a few gyms in Vilnius and I have to admit that this one is the best. Right in the heart of the city. Reasonably priced for the great quality that it offers... Staff is also very very friendly and professional." Kristijonas Vasiliauskas keeps it to a single line: "It changes your life if you commit to it!" Ludwig VA adds a detail nobody else mentions: "Great equipment. Great views!"

What's Missing

No review states current pricing. Nothing confirms whether the ventilation issue or the months-long elevator outage described by two different reviewers were ever addressed. Most importantly, nothing here resolves the conflicting closure signal in this listing's own data - verify current status before relying on anything else in this record.

Who It's Not For

Anyone who needs confirmed current operating status before making plans - this listing's data sends mixed signals, and you should verify directly. Anyone with mobility needs, given one specific, unresolved account of a months-long elevator outage with no posted notice. Anyone planning a long session, given a strict 3.5-hour daily cap with per-minute overstay charges.

Is ventilation a real concern here?

One reviewer specifically describes poor ventilation and misplaced air cooling units. His additional claim about meningitis risk specifically is an overstatement of how that illness spreads, but the underlying ventilation complaint is worth asking about directly.
