Bannatyne Health Club Folkestone

Can't fault the staff they are so friendly and helpful Megan and Tanya especially. The cleaners have a very big job and are always on the go. Its not sparkling as there are alot of members but they do their best with the cleaning products provided. I go in the morning between 9-12 and its never to busy then. The gym itself has just had a makeover and I love it (still miss the rings though if you ever want to bring them back)

I’m ready to use the folks and branch. I come and see Joshua in the sports endurance clinic. I I can recommend Joshua as a super clinician. I would also like to add that the staff within the branch are always courteous and professional. The standard of coffee and food is excellent. Thank you for your help and time.

I've been a member of this gym for over 20 years, so I feel I'm well placed to give an accurate review. I have always found the gym to be well equipped and the staff friendly and accommodating. Sure, there are times when equipment has needed repairing or there have been issues with pool facilities or changing rooms but there are always going to be such issues with a business that runs almost none stop and the management always address such issues in a timely manner. The gym was recently closed for a refit and during this time I had to attend the Ashford branch. I didn't find the staff to be anywhere near as friendly and approachable as the Folkestone staff. Anyway, the refit at Folkestone is now complete and I am really impressed with the new equipment and layout. It caters for almost any style of training, from weights, to cardio and even hyrox. Even when the gym gets busy at peak periods there's enough equipment to ensure you don't have to hang around to do a particular exercise. My only annoyance is people sitting on equipment reading social media for to long between sets. Anyway, in short, great gym, plenty of equipment and friendly staff.

Lack of investment has left this gym with outdated, faulty equipment and dilapidated women's facilities. General hygiene is also a major concern, as the premises are consistently dirty and require a thorough deep clean. While some staff are fine, the overall service is lacking. Despite months of promises, there has been zero progress.
