Brisa Y Viento - Gym in Alicante, Spain

Moraira, Spain

Let's clear this up in the first sentence: this isn't a gym. Brisa y Viento sits in our gym directory, but the listing types are restaurant and food, and every single review is about a meal on the seafront in Moraira, Spain. Nobody mentions a squat rack because there isn't one. If you landed here looking to train, you're in the wrong place, and I'd rather tell you that plainly than pad out a fitness description for a business that serves paella.

What it actually is

Brisa y Viento (several reviewers also call it "Brisa y Mar") is a front-line restaurant on Calle Mar in Moraira, on the Alicante coast. It holds a 4.4 rating across 128 reviews. That's a real sample for a small seaside spot, and the written reviews are detailed enough to be genuinely useful if you're deciding where to eat, not where to lift.

What diners agree on

The set menu comes up again and again, and the value gets specific, which I appreciate. A large family of eight who visited on a Saturday evening in May 2026 wrote a long, concrete review: "3 courses for 26 euros and they were fabulous." They described "tempura prawns for a starter (huge, fresh prawns served beautifully)," an entrecote "cooked to perfection," and a total bill "including drinks (some alcoholic)" of "210 euros" for eight people. That's the kind of number a review should carry, and it's rare.

Other visitors quote different set-menu prices, which is worth noticing. One reviewer mentions "the 3 course menu which was amazing for the price of only 25 euros," while an April 2026 diner chose "the set menu options at 18.50 euros" and singled out the paella as "well cooked and flavourful." So the fixed-price menu seems to shift, or there are tiers. If price matters, ask which set menu is running the day you go.

The service theme is consistent too. "The staff were so pleasant and helpful," said the family of eight. An August 2025 review echoed it: "The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome... you really get great value for your money." Friendly service and strong value for a set menu is the whole story here.

What the average measures

A 4.4 across 128 reviews is a healthy restaurant rating. The five written reviews I can see are all glowing, which means the ratings pulling the average below, say, 4.7 are the silent ones without text. That's normal for restaurants: quiet three-star clicks drag a number down while the enthusiastic diners write paragraphs. So read 4.4 as "well liked, with a chunk of quieter middling votes I can't read the reasons for."

What's missing

For a restaurant, the gaps are small but real. The listing shows no website and no phone number, which is unusual and a nuisance if you want to book a table for a group. Posted hours are consistent: 11:30 to 23:00 every day. If you're planning a large dinner like that party of eight, you may have to walk in or find the number elsewhere, since the listing doesn't carry it.

Who it's not for

Anyone looking for a workout. Full stop. Beyond that, if you need to reserve ahead and want a listed phone number, this listing won't give you one. And if you're chasing a specific set-menu price, confirm on the day, because reviewers quote anywhere from 18.50 to 26 euros.

We came here on Saturday evening as a large family of 8. My parents had been here the night before and had chosen the special menu and said how good it was so we went back. It's only a small place with a few staff but we sat outside and were made to feel welcome straight away. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. There was space for our children to play in front of the restaurant whilst we waited for our food which was lovely. I have to say the special menu is absolutely amazing value for money. 3 courses for €26 and they were fabulous. I chose the tempura prawns for a starter (huge, fresh prawns served beautifully), the entrecôte with fries (the steak was absolutely HUGE, was cooked to perfection and was so tender, I'd have easily paid €25+ for that on its own in another restaurant), followed by the tiramisu which was also lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a fantastic meal there. I could see why my parents wanted to return. The meal including drinks (some alcoholic) came to €210 euros which I thought was absolutely fantastic value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

We had a very lovely experience from the moment we arrived for lunch. The restaurant is in a lovely front line location in Moraira. We chose from the set menu options at 18.50 euros. The food was enjoyable across the board, and the paella in particular stood out. It was well cooked and flavourful. Overall, a lovely meal with solid service in a pretty setting which was great value. We'd be happy to return.

I had such a lovely experience at Brisa y Mar Restaurant. I was visiting Spain with my family from Scotland on a tour and just happened to stop here for lunch \_and I'm really glad I did.\n\nThe location is amazing, with such a beautiful view that made the whole meal even more enjoyable. The food and drinks were honestly incredible. We started with fish tacos, and they were so tasty and fresh a great start to the meal.\n\nFor the main course, I had chicken with mushroom sauce, and it was just perfect. The flavors went so well together, and I really enjoyed every bite.\n\nThe service was just as good as the food. The staff were very polite, friendly, and attentive without being over the top, which made us feel really comfortable.\n\nOverall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely go back again when I'm in Spain. Highly recommend it!

Absolutely fantastic service and food here at Brisa Y Mar! All of the wait staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. We had the 3 course menu which was amazing for the price of only €25! My partner had the vegetarian mushroom risotto which was also delicious and full of flavour, one of the best he's ever had! Wonderful hidden gems in Moraira for locals and visiting tourists. Will definitely be visiting again in the future!
