PARDS Fitness Center & Aquatic Center

Denham Springs, United States

PARDS Fitness Center & Aquatic Center in Denham Springs, Louisiana shows 4.5 from 37 reviews, and its five written reviews, spanning 2018 to 2019, consistently describe a genuinely comprehensive facility combining basketball courts, a fitness center, and a specifically child-friendly water park, all under one roof at an affordable price.

A Detailed Account of a Child-Appropriate Water Park

Nancy's review is the most specific here: "Perfect for children! The water park is just right for my 6 year old. The water is not too deep, and there's plenty to keep her entertained. The admission price is low and affordable. You can't bring in snacks and drinks, but they have a concession stand that serves everything from pizza to pickles to ice cream, and the prices aren't bad either." I'd flag that no-outside-food policy directly, since it's a specific, practical detail worth knowing before you pack a cooler expecting to bring your own snacks.

A Detailed Account of Comprehensive Facilities Without High Cost

Shawn Brady's review focuses on the combined value proposition: "Love the indoor basketball courts and pool. They have just about everything you need under one roof without breaking the bank." I'd note that "everything under one roof" framing directly, since it's echoed independently by other reviewers describing the facility's broad range of activities.

A Detailed Account of Friendly, Professional Staff

Janet White's review offers a strong overall endorsement: "We love this fitness center! The staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming, all while being professional. The equipment is in good condition, and the staff will help you get the best workout possible from them. We have definitely recommended PARDS to several friends and family." I'd treat that willing-recommendation detail as a meaningful signal beyond just personal satisfaction.

Additional Accounts of Childcare and Parking Convenience

Michael DeMarco's review keeps things brief but specific, thanking staff and especially the childcare attendant, noting his child really loved her. Sherrye Palmer's review adds a practical note about easy parking alongside a huge selection of activities and a well-managed, friendly atmosphere.

What's Missing

No review states exact membership or day-pass pricing beyond general characterizations of affordability. Nothing here confirms current opening hours, since none are published on the listing, and every written review here predates 2020.

Who It's Not For

Anyone planning to bring outside snacks or drinks, given at least one specific reviewer noting this isn't allowed, though a concession stand is available. Anyone who needs current, up-to-date confirmation of pricing or hours before visiting, since the listing publishes no hours and every written review predates 2020.
