Unfortunately had to stop taking my little girl here as she wasn’t getting anything out of it. It has the potential but the instructors are too busy chatting or focusing on a couple of kids who they must know personally and not actually teaching. They seem to spend the entire time stretching or walking around instead of actually showing the kids what to do. No structure to the place and what was the final nail in the coffin is that they don’t even bother to update the app to show what competencies have been carried out so my little girl and work on these (unlike the swimming instructors who do this weekly). Lazy to be honest and not worth the £33 monthly fee

We were invited to take our daughter to try out a session a while back and I was not impressed. They had forgot about my daughter coming, paid no attention to her, did not make sure she was following. Having have done gymnastics myself, it seemed as if the staff had no knowledge of real gymnastics. All they did were play games like you would do in P.E. We were expecting it to be only for a little while as warm up, but it continued for the whole session! Occasionally the members of staff would be chatting away, looking at their phones. Hartsdown needs to investigate this and look into employing proper gymnasts to teach these children.

I was really hopeful when enrolling my daughter in this gymnastics class, but unfortunately, the experience has been quite disappointing. She attended 6 lessons, and during that time, I noticed a clear lack of individual attention, especially for new students. My daughter was completely lost in the group, and no one seemed to make an effort to engage with her or help her learn even a single new step. It’s disheartening to see certain children getting all the attention while others are overlooked. This kind of favoritism is not only unfair but also unhealthy for young kids who come in with open hearts and a willingness to learn. Every child deserves encouragement, especially when they're just starting out. Sadly, that wasn’t our experience here. I hope the management reconsiders how they support and include all students equally — because every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and guided.

Grown men allowed to shout at a 2 year old and a woman without consequence. Yes, my son is going through a no sharing stage but at no right does that give you a pass to shout and point in a 2 year olds face. I have tired everything during this stage from explaining about sharing , to telling off. So i dont need another parent scaring my child. Gemma went and spoke to parent but if I'm being honest I don't think she said anything to him/sided with him as I've received no support from her since being there. Also little engagement with the kids. They just sit on a table looking at there phones. One member of staff (did not catch name) was lovely and tried to help) otherwise avoid and go some place else
