I recently moved from out of state and StarFit is the gift I didn’t know I needed. I felt anxious to sign up for my first class after working out from home for 8+ years- but I found the trainers to be incredibly welcoming and kind. I love the variety of workouts and exercises, the small group community, the diverse ages, and that classes always start and end on time. I’m so thankful I tried StarFit in the first month arriving to Alexandria- it is so life-giving!
I started at StarFit Alexandria just three weeks ago, and I absolutely love it! The small group classes allow the instructors to give everyone individual attention, making sure your form is correct and offering guidance whenever needed. I especially appreciate the focus on strength training. I've tried classes with three different trainers, and they have all been fantastic. They know exactly how to motivate and encourage you when you feel like you have nothing left, helping you push through and finish your very best. A huge thank you to the entire team for creating such a welcoming, supportive, and motivating environment. I'm so glad I joined and look forward to every workout!
Just started here recently and so far, I'm quite happy! I have always been active all my life but avoiding most weight lifting endeavors. It didn't appeal to me. I know though how important building muscle is and I'm so glad I pushed myself and found this place. Its an experience unlike any I've had. Very small classes and very nice people and I am so grateful to have found it. I like it very much and it's working for me so far!
While I was dubious of whether I could do the weights and training - everyone has been so nice and has helped me pick weights that I can handle. I feel very supported by all the ladies - both the coaches and the other attendees.
StarFit Studio is a gym focused on helping women gain strength and stability. I love that the coaches create a safe and welcoming environment. I have taken classes from Lee Ann and Hannah and I’m giving them a shout out as they are amazing. I appreciate the thought and work that they put into creating functional and challenging exercise routines that are different every day. They also continue to challenge me and others in the class when they know we can do more. I highly recommend Starfit Studio for those of you looking for an encouraging environment to work on improving your health.
