My husband & I are guest at Dormero Hotel. The man at the front desk was polite & friendly. He spoke good English which was awesome!!! He gave me a tour. He informed me of what work out machines/weights I can use & which ones are off limits. He also informed me that Kanto Sports are located all around Germany. Thank you
There could be more equipment, and some of the upholstery is quite worn. However, everything is clean, the staff are very friendly, the members are nice, and the changing rooms are great.

Overall: Poor. 1) I have never encountered a business or gym as hidden as this one. It is located inside of what you could call a mall, but there are no indoor signs indicating where it is. Turns out there is one exterior small door with this gym's logo on it that leads to a small stairwell, which you need to follow upstairs. 2) The person behind the counter, upon my arrival, was rather dismissive of my feedback that it took me almost 30min to find their establishment. However, she promptly let me know that they were only open for another half an hour and asked if that's enough for a workout (giving me the impression that I was not welcome). She started saying that since I don't have a towel and they're close to closing that... (I am assuming the rest of the sentence was going to suggest that I leave). I interjected that I did bring a towel and showed it to her. Only then was I granted entry. 3) The equipment in this gym is a mix of some of the most bizarre machines I have seen. However, not in the sense of the exercises themselves, those were quite standard. But the implementation of each exercise was bizarre. The first one (regular leg press) had no weights to rack or adjust, but a display accompanied with some buttons. One button said start, which I pressed. The machine worked as intended for about 30sec and then said that it needed a token. I did not have the time to further look into what that was about. The next machine (another leg press) was equally bizarre in the sense that it could not be adjusted. There was a lever, but it would not let me adjust the machine to my height. I gave up on the machines and simply did a few free weight exercises. 4) Upon trying to leave I found the reception desk empty. I also couldn't leave, since the turn styles would not let me through. A few minutes later someone came to let me out. There was no apparent interest in how the experience was, but they did seem eager to close. Conclusion: Hard to locate, poor customer service, bizarre workout machines and "towel policy".
