This is one of the best gyms in Abu Dhabi. I have completed like 4 months now and have seen drastic change in my health…. Special thanks to Raju my Personal trainer who has guided with proper exercise and diet… shall highly recommend Rock Gym to all… thank you
Good for heavy weights training in bodybuilding. More machines and neat and clean.
Didn't like it. Good range of equipment but the gym gives you oldish feeling. There is lack of housekeeping and maintenance. There was no bidet shower with toilet. Just a pipe. No tissue papers. No sanitizers. Weighing machine is manual. Not only manual but it probably belongs to 18th century. You have to weigh yourself like you are buying fruits from a village. This is the first gym where weights and dumbells have been measured in pounds. Very confusing for me. And there is no gym instructor. There are some personal trainers but none by the gym.
Cons: - no windows and no natural light - poor fluorescent depressing lights - low ceiling - poor ventilation - machines and weights are crammed in in the space. - members are of the labour force. Have no knowledge to gyms etiquette or body deodorant. - some of the members bring their little kids which can make the gym very hazardous Pros: - proper hardcore body building gym - all free weights and machines - cheap and the single entry is 30 dirhams (I believe It deserves 20 only though) - great easy location
This place is really nice but need good trainer. There is a one sri lankan Trainer, He said he only does it part time, he only teaches for personal trainers. He doesn't teach others. This is too bad. We should have someone to teach us a little bit when we get there.
