My name is Ms. E Garner and I'm forever grateful for Dr. Leslie W. Levenson, my cardiologist and truly one of the most exceptional physicians I have ever encountered. I first met him during an emergency visit at West Jefferson Hospital. I had been scheduled for a stress test months later, but my systems became to severe to wait. The ER doctor called Dr. Levenson, and from the moment he introduced himself, everything changed. He asked me to describe exactly what I was experiencing. I told him how my pills and even food were getting stuck when I swallowed and my chest was bothering me. After listening to my heart, he told me something no other doctor had said: "I don't believe this is a heart problem something else is going on internally". His calm confidence and careful attention made me feel safe for the first time in a long time. He admitted me immediately and arranged a stress test first thing the next morning. When the results came back showing that my heart was fine, I felt such relief and right then, I asked him if he could be my doctor. I knew in that moment that he was someone I could trust with my life. He didn't stop at the stress test. He made sure I saw my GI doctor, who discovered a narrowing in my esophagus, the real cause of my issues. Because I had gone so long unable to eat or drink normally, it caused other issues in my body and Dr. Levenson has been playing a major role in helping me get everything back to normal again. He pays attention to every part of my health, not just my heart, and that kind of care is rare. Since being under his care, even my heart rate stays calm when I visit other doctors. Dr. Levenson is gentle, thorough, and truly dedicated. He gives his patients that special kind of trust and peace. He doesn't just treat symptoms, he treat the whole person. He listens, he explains, and he genuinely cares. I believe God sent an angel to my emergency room that day, and his name was Dr. Leslie W. Levenson. I will never stop thanking him for everything he has done for me. Everyone deserves a doctor like him.

Her professionalism, compassion, and dedication truly set her apart as one of the finest physicians in the LCMC network. Recently, my PSA levels showed a mild spike. Instead of dismissing it or taking a "wait and see" approach, Dr. Bastian acted immediately. She referred me to my urologist and ensured I received the MRI I needed. Because of her vigilance and genuine concern, my cancer was detected early, something that could have easily been overlooked without her proactive care. I firmly believe her attention to detail and her commitment to her patients played a critical role in protecting my health. Dr. Bastian consistently demonstrates what it means to be a caring and dedicated primary care physician. She listens, she follows through, and she treats every patient with respect and humanity. She is an invaluable asset to Oakwood Family Doctors, and I believe she deserves recognition for the extraordinary service she provides every day. I hadn't been inside this hospital in years, today i had a 4 hour outpatient test at WJ Hospital LCMC , I was pleasantly suprised at how beautifully renovated everything is There are lovely family waiting rooms,also, Diana Blanchard was friendly, courteous, and helpful . Everything was so clean , neat & well color schemed . there was a PJ's coffee shop, and Rudiger's gift shop was beautifully decorated . With lovely items for sale. Overall, it was a good experience.👍 I was at WJ Hospital LCMC yesterday w a family member. The hospital was clean & the personal was professional & courteous. The Dr was fantastic explaining everything to our family. The chappel is a lovely place for families to have privacy & pray . After 2 trips here today, I’m currently sitting at home still unable to eat or sip water for the past 12+ hours. Gabriela and Jessie are the absolute worst nurses I have ever encountered and I pray no one else experiences what I had to with them. I was discharged and asked for the only cup of water I was given. I was still unable to drink it without extreme pain and feeling like my throat is closing. The head blank nurse was irritated that I had informed her of my pain and sent Gabriela in to tell me I’m fine and need to go home. After asking to speak to someone else, security came in and told me I was discharged and need to leave. Jessie then inserted herself and was extremely rude and condescending. No one here cares if you’re in excruciating pain they will give you a little something to take the edge off and send you about your way. I’m praying when I wake up the pain has subsided or I will have to spend another day at another hospital when West Jeff could have done their job thoroughly, respectfully and it doesn’t freaking hurt to be kind! Especially when someone is already in a painful situation they don’t want to be in. These girls made my day much worse than it was and I know God is not about to play about the way they did me. Have fun with that y’all.

Worst hospital ever. Had a serious front and back surgery, and after there was no room for me. I was left neglected in recovery all night with no one to check on me or give me pain meds. The nurse had to work a double shift. I was discriminated in the cafeteria before surgery by the person checking me out. I went to help my husband carry something and she made an ugly comment to me, "Look at her. I'll get it. ", she said sarcastically. I was just trying to help him carry the food. When I did get a room, I was neglected. I'll NEVER use this hospital again or recommend it to anyone.
