Great gym and pool area with jacuzzi Pity the Sauna and Steam room not yet open
Member; when not busy it’s lovely but ultimately the outdoor approach and decor a bit scruffy and worn. Litter outside. Paid for my sister to use as a treat and couldn’t use steam room as smelt of urine. Needs more staff on desk as one person cannot clean changing room and man desk and Changing room often in disarray. Also booking system a pain and unnecessary now post covid and doesn’t show the amount of guests rammed into the pool on a weekend so really it’s useless.
Member. Pool is good , most areas usually clean. Urine in steam room making it unable to use and wasn’t sorted due to there only seeming to be one member of staff which was on desk.
I tried calling the gym for nearly two hours without getting an answer. When I eventually got through via the main switchboard, I was transferred to the gym. The staff member who answered simply said, “We’re fully booked,” and then ended the call without offering any further assistance or alternatives. Unfortunately, I’ve also experienced rude behaviour from the same staff member in person, including having my disability questioned. This left me feeling uncomfortable and unsupported. Based on my experience, I do not feel the service is particularly disability-friendly. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve both customer service and accessibility for all members.
Wanted to join but given staff on desk so unhelpful put me off; basically told to wander round on my own to look at facilities. No encouragement to join. I had to ask all the questions, like how deep is pool etc; she could barely be bothered to answer. Obviously not interested in gaining new members. Grounds a bit messy and a rickety old wooden bridge needs to be crossed between car park and access path to gym; think that's seen better days!!! Unpleasant smell in ladies changing rooms.
