Eletero Mozgaskozpont is on Szent Istvan korut in central Budapest. It holds a 4.9 rating from 30 Google reviews. Before you plan a workout here, understand what it is: the Hungarian name translates roughly as "Vitality Movement Centre," and the listing itself says gyogytorna, which means physiotherapy.

This is a physiotherapy and yoga centre, not a gym.

Physiotherapists, Not Trainers

Every reviewer says so. All the reviews are in Hungarian, so the quotes below are my translations.

A reviewer in May 2020: "Young and well-prepared physiotherapists. Colorful and varied physiotherapy exercises, at different levels of difficulty. Plenty of equipment available. The classes are held in a clean environment and there is also the possibility of showering on site. The prices of the classes are completely fair."

A reviewer in February 2026: "Knowledgeable, kind physiotherapists, classes every day of the week until Saturday from morning to evening, reasonable prices!"

Physiotherapists in both. Classes in both. Nobody in this entire sample describes lifting, machines or a membership that lets you train alone.

So if you're in the fifth district looking for a place to squat, this isn't it. If you're rehabbing something, or you want guided movement classes led by clinically trained staff, that's precisely what's on offer.

A Doctor's View, And A Family's

The most interesting review is five years old, from someone who signs as a doctor: "First of all: all my compliments to you! You are fantastic for taking care of our health in this way. As a doctor, I really appreciate this. I started my fifth year with you (my little wife is already in her sixth year). Except for illness, we never missed a day."

Five years of near-daily attendance, from a physician. That's a strong endorsement, though it's also five years old.

More recent, from in November 2024: "We have been going here for 3 years now. All 5 members of our family. I think that says it all. We take the morning classes. The physiotherapists are prepared, they teach a variety of classes. Sometimes it is harder or easier for us, but that's okay."

Note the honesty in that last line. Sometimes harder, sometimes easier. Class difficulty varies, and this member is fine with it. If you need a consistent, predictable session, that's worth knowing.

Booking

A reviewer in July 2024: "Easy online booking, efficient organization, fresh, positive, professional instructors, diverse tools, system, and effective service."

Online booking works, then, at least as of a year ago. The site is eleteromozgaskozpont.hu.

Hours

These are published and unusually detailed. Monday 07:00 to 19:30. Tuesday 07:30 to 20:00. Wednesday 07:00 to 20:00. Thursday 07:30 to 20:00. Friday 07:00 to 18:30. Saturday 09:00 to 14:00. Closed Sunday.

The start times shift by half an hour depending on the day, which is easy to misread. Check the specific day before you go.

The Sample

Thirty ratings, and two of the five written reviews are five and six years old. The 4.9 is consistent and there isn't a single complaint on record, but a third of this sample predates the pandemic. I'd call it a well-regarded centre rather than a proven one.

No pricing is published. Two reviewers call prices fair and reasonable, which tells you their opinion and not the number.

We have been going here for 3 years now. All 5 members of our family. I think that says it all!😉We take the morning classes. The physiotherapists are prepared, they teach a variety of classes. Sometimes it is harder or easier for us, but that's okay. We try to go at least once a week, but if we can, we go more often. The subscription is really worth it. 🤗Unfortunately, individual classes are expensive.

First of all: all my compliments to you! You are fantastic for taking care of our health in this way. As a doctor, I really appreciate this. I started my fifth year with you (my little wife is already in her sixth year). Except for illness, we never missed a day. If I wasn’t teaching, I would go to you even on Saturdays, so I often did gymnastics with you six times a week. The results were fantastic. I am over 75 years old, but I felt much younger, thanks to you. The epidemic changed everything. We couldn’t go to you, we missed the usual company, we couldn’t hear the chatter coming from the women’s locker room. Thank you very much/we thank you for doing everything you did to keep us feeling fit. Special thanks to Kata for organizing and running the class. All I can say about your Saturday class is that I experienced what my Little Wife told me about you. It was fantastic! Thank you! I can only do gymnastics with Ági tomorrow because I worked last week. I recorded my lectures for my massage therapy students, which we will send to them. Everyone had their own characteristic sayings. I was really waiting for the words "two more", and luckily for me/us, I heard them. After every class, I told you, Saci/Saca, that you are great. It is a pleasure to do gymnastics in your classes, although it is quite exhausting (but we like it)! As a doctor who also teaches anatomy, I especially appreciate your explanations! Stay with us! We love you!

I took part in Öhlmüller Sarolta's physiotherapy exercises, I highly recommend them to everyone.
