Brilliant place to go, my daughter has swimming lessons twice a week and all members of staff are lovely, highly recommended to go. Only reason why I haven't given it 5 stars is they should have cleaners over the weekend to keep the swimming changing area clean, that's the only thing that's lacking, hence the rating given. Massive shout out yo my daughters swimming teacher Mike, he is amazing and ever so patient and every so king to my daughter. Thank you 😊 🙏
Gym facilities themselves are fine. Had a recent renovation with lots more machines. Serious capacity issue though. Even at what google identifies as 'moderately' busy times, hard to get a warm up in, let alone a good work out in with all the downtime and waiting for free space.
Faculity and gym nice. Staff not proffessional. Noone at recpetion to help me. Gate was just left open so i walked in to use the gym. 3 staff memebers just mucking around on cable machiene. A lifeguard, receptist and pt and yet no one to help me at reception.
I’ve been to a few everyone active centres across the country and this was by far the worst one I’ve been to. Swimming pool is clearly too small to accommodate the amount of people allowed to book for the lane swimming. Everybody is swimming on top of eachother, no lane etiquette and doesn’t get enforced by lazy staff members. Changing cubicals are absolutely disgusting lazy staff members clearly don’t clean them after use, if they do clean them it’s only minor cleaning. The lockers and changing facilities are filthy. Also no working showers except for ONE by the sauna where everybody can watch you wash. This facility needs some work done, I won’t be visiting again. Better off going woodside or south oxhey. Take some tips from sapphire centre in Romford, they’ll show you how to properly run a leisure centre. I wish I could put zero stars.
I’m honestly shocked by how many people walk around the pool area in outdoor shoes. It’s unhygienic and shouldn’t be allowed. Also, many adults stand and gather right next to the learner pools, which is clearly a safety issue. This happens every time we visit. I don’t understand why this isn’t being enforced. If signs aren’t enough, there should be staff making sure people don’t enter the poolside area in outdoor shoes or stand in restricted areas.
