Much better option for drop in. I paid £15 for the whole month. You have to subscribe but you are given the option to cancel subscription after a month. I would have paid for 2 day passes in most gyms for the same price. Regular gym set up with all decent equipment. Cable weights are a little hard to read but you’re guaranteed a decent workout here.
Really good gym, good price, loads of facilities. Good location! Can't really say anything negative! Quieter than the gyms in town with makes it a lot more enjoyable not waiting for equipment.
The staff here are lovely and helpful, and cannot be faulted. There is a goid range of classes too. The gym area is okay, but no tissues or wipes are provided to clean equipment (despite there being signs up asking you to wipe equipment). The changing area and showers are dreadful. No space, loads of broken lockers, and showers are dirty and smell like someone wees in them. Ended up cancelling membership as just too icky.
This is a fair gym considering the price, with a great location, lovely front of house staff and good quality kit. The women's only section is great if you're self-conscious for whatever reason while exercising. It's small so gets extremely busy at peak times - be prepared to complete some of your workout in the general section. Cleanliness has also been an issue each time I've been. The equipment is not always clean; there have been various smells and spills on the matts, sweat marks on handles of kit, etc. even at quiet times, and there are no antibacterial wipes for you to use when moving between kit - doesn't cost a lot, but would make it seem more clean and professional. The toilets have also not been good - all lacking toilet paper last time I went in, and half weren't flushing. For anyone visiting keep in mind that the gym is on the second floor and there's no lift - careful after leg day!
Interesting place but not like other gyms I've been to. Staff can be quite rude and there's definitely an above average number of gym users who are in the "strange" category. Lots of equipment is broken and lockers are in shabby order. The only plus is I didn't pay anything - my friend got me a free 'day pass'. I feel sorry for my friend.
