The child care is always busy here but my kids have so much fun! Great Y 💯
My family has been coming here for a number of years on and off and we really enjoy it. The staff members are very friendly, the facility is very clean and there is plenty to do. The only hindrance at times is the price. I understand though, to have a nice facility it takes money. Definitely worth a visit, even if its just for one of the classes like swim lessons.
I've been a member for about 10 years now and it's been very helpful since I retired 13 years ago, I work out three times a week and I play pickleball three times a week. The Y M C A has a great gym and a lot of very nice equipment the staff is always nice and helpful. They have different programs for all kinds of workouts.
I was able to get by this YMCA a couple of times while in Rogers for work. The equipment is top notch Matrix. There were tons of them open when I was there. There is an indoor pool which looked awesome, though I didn't get to use it. Very nice location, as I have been to a few of the YMCAs around the country.
I've been a member at the Elk River YMCA for approx 10 years except for some time off during Covid. Nice enough place. Grumpy lady at the front desk but she gets the job done. Some great people at the front desk also. Way Too expensive compared to friends of mine at YMCA's in other cities. I have a good friend in Madison WI who pays approx. half what we have to and it's a nicer facility (I've been there). Upstairs area is good and I have no complaints. Classes have been good and mostly fun. Pool area is clean but pool staff is very unfriendly and kind of High School Cliquey. They are often rude and never friendly. I have seen the guards yell at kids and adults for no reason. They close down half the lap swim lanes 20 minutes before 4 lanes of lap swimming ends according to their published schedule. There is no lap swim times available in the evenings during the week. That does not seem right. Most of us work during the days on workdays and can't get there before because of other responsibilities. Locker rooms are clean and no complaints. They have work to do in the pool area but otherwise it's an ok place.
