Fitness Center

Atalanta Sport Club, Joaquín Costa.

Valencia, Spain

Atalanta Sport Club shows 4.6 from 66 reviews, and it's a genuinely multi-purpose facility - a pool, swim lessons, a full gym floor, and a class schedule - rather than a single-focus gym, according to every one of its five written reviews.

A Pool Sized for Kids, Not Laps

Phil Nguyen's review is specific about what the pool is actually good for: "We take swim lessons for our young kids. We really like the swim teacher Gustavo. He's a quality teach and very good natured. The pool is small so better suited for smaller children." That's a useful correction before you show up expecting lap swimming - this reads as a teaching pool for young children first, general swimming second.

The Most Detailed Review Here

Doris Liebmann's review, written after joining as a family of four, covers more ground than any other: "The equipment are advanced, you can connect to apple products and track your performance... The tread mills are awesome, the LCD screen is large, and if you have a headset and Netflix you can log in and watch your shows!" She also names a specific instructor and class: "Raul, one of the personal trainers there is very positive and motivating, his Ent.Function class is intense," and lists the group class roster: "Zumba, Aqua-fitness, Sha'Bam, etc.... all inclusive!" She closes with a detail worth repeating: "The instructors are very friendly, they personally introduce themselves if you are new to their class." That's specific onboarding behavior, not generic friendliness - worth knowing if you're anxious about walking into a class as a stranger.

Two Named Staff, Two Different Roles

Between Phil's mention of swim teacher Gustavo and Doris's mention of personal trainer Raul, this club has at least two staff members reviewers single out by name for different services - swim instruction and a specific intense fitness class. Sacha Belle's review backs the general staff quality up without naming anyone specifically: "Good facilities to take care of your body, everything is correct, the coaching staff are all lovely! I love this place!"

The One Reviewer Who Mentions Price

Ashley GMT's review, September 2016 - the oldest here - is the only one to raise cost directly, and does so almost in passing: "Really cool place if you are looking more for a sport club, they got a pool and everything but high prices lol." No figure, but it's the only signal in five reviews that this isn't a budget option, and I'd weigh it against Doris's account of the advanced, app-connected equipment - the kind of gear that typically comes with a higher membership tier.

What's Missing

No review states an actual price, despite one reviewer specifically flagging the club as expensive. Nothing describes hours, and the newest written review is from October 2019, more than six years old now, so nothing confirms current staff, pricing, or whether Gustavo and Raul still teach here.

Who It's Not For

Anyone hoping for a lap pool - one reviewer specifically describes it as small and better suited to young children. Anyone on a tight budget, based on one reviewer's specific complaint about high prices.

We just joined as a family of 4. It is a great club. The equipment are advanced, you can connect to apple products and track your performance. Staff is very friendly. The pool is a plus during the summer months (although limited due to swimming lessons). They have many *group class exercises. Raul, one of the personal trainers there is very positive and motivating, his Ent.Function class is intense. The tread mills are awesome, the LCD screen is large, and if you have a headset and Netflix you can log in and watch your shows! *Zumba, Aqua-fitness, Sha'Bam, etc.... all inclusive! The instructors are very friendly, they personally introduce themselves if you are new to their class.
