Mithapukur Ecopark is located on Shathibari-Balua Road, about 8 km west of Shathibari. Although there is no significant infrastructure in this ecopark, the forest environment and nature will touch everyone's mind. The beauty of the green fragrant Sal tree (Shorea Robusta) inside the forest is ready to captivate you. And the dense thorny Calamus Tenuis (Locally known as 'Bet gach') in the middle of the Sal tree will give everyone the adventure of getting lost in a somewhat deep forest. The calmness and the silence of the forest along with the chirping of birds can be the best refreshment for you. This is the place where you can talk to your soul.

Mithapukur, a well-known upazila in the Rangpur district of northern Bangladesh, is rich not only in natural beauty but also in history and culture. One of the most attractive and well-visited places in this area is the Mithapukur Eco Park. This park not only contributes to the conservation of nature but also serves as a wonderful place for recreation and mental refreshment. The Mithapukur Eco Park is located in Shaltigopalpur village, not far from the upazila headquarters. Upon entering the park, visitors are greeted with a wide green space, tall trees, small ponds, and winding stone paths. The chirping of birds, the gentle sway of trees in the breeze, and the peaceful environment offer a soothing escape from the chaos of urban life. The park has various play equipment like swings and slides for children. For young people, there are beautiful spots perfect for photography and long walkways to enjoy nature. Many families and groups of friends visit the park for picnics and afternoon outings. In the evening, the park becomes lively with visitors—some reading books, some taking photos, and others simply enjoying the serenity of nature. The park remains open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the entry fee is quite affordable, making it accessible to all. In terms of safety and cleanliness, the management is attentive and maintains good order throughout the premises. Mithapukur Eco Park is not just a place of leisure—it is also a symbol of environmental awareness and our love for nature. A visit here reminds us how important it is to preserve such green spaces for a better and healthier future. This park in Mithapukur stands as a symbol of peace and natural beauty in the area. It is an ideal resting and recreational place for people of all ages. For those who wish to spend time in the lap of nature, a visit to this park is sure to be refreshing and delightful.

Owned by Govt. No ticket. Beautiful natural scenario. The number of bench to sit is not enough. It should be more organised.
