Summary: a great place. Can get a bit hot when busy, but hey you're working out so it's bound to happen anyway. I'll start with the cons: the place is not air conditioned (it has a lot of powerful fans though), so it can get a bit hot when busy. It also has no water fountain/dispenser, so bring your own. It could also use some wall mirrors to help people see if they're doing free exercises (e.g., when doing squats) correctly. But the pros outweight the cons though; first of all, the trainer (and also owner) is friendly and knowledgeable. The gym itself is well-equipped with plenty of machines, and they look new (or well maintained). It also has two shower rooms and locker area, as well as a small space for you to do stretching / yoga / etc. For me, the fee is reasonable - RM89/month plus RM100 one-time registration fee; compare this with Celebrity Fitness (RM200/month, if I'm not mistaken). For that amount, the owner will also give you one free coaching session, and he'll sit down and plan your diet and training sessions as well. Overall I'm happy with this gym, and I'm going to return tomorrow. With a big bottle of water.
