This has to be the worst ActoveSG gym I've been to. Location is in Enabling Village which is fairly central. Yet the equipments are old, dated and really not fully equipped. Its like all the equipments here are salvaged from the branches when they change to newer equipments. Looks damn pathetic when I see our seniors exercising there. Please provide them with better n newer equipments. Come on ActiveSG. You can do better than this. Dont waste money coming here.

The activesg gym at Enabling Village seems to have applied a different policy when it comes to water bottles as compared to other activesg gym that I've been to. There's no standard blanket policy across the gyms apparently and certainly with this one, not one that makes sense. They will tell you that you can't have your water bottle when you go on the cardio machines, that you have to leave it where bags are left because "it's a small gym". Completely nonsensical and illogical. When I go on the treadmill I usually take a sip from my water bottle a couple of times. Instead, I have to interrupt my workout whilst the machine is still running, quickly go and take a sip of water and then jog back to the treadmill to get back on. All the cardio machines have water bottle holders. Why would they come with water bottle holders if they didn't expect people to want their water bottle with them to drink from? When you're running a marathon there's water stands along the way for you to have a drink - they don't tell runners, oh sorry, you have to go back to where you left your bottle. Whoever came up with this "policy" is neither a sports person nor do they do any running. And to top it off, the person who came to tell me this, who I observed scratching themselves and who probably didn't even wash their hands, came over and had the audacity to touch my water bottle near the mouthpiece. What gives people the right to think that they can touch other people's items? You've got a mouth so use it. I don't want your grimy hands anywhere near be it a bag, towel or bottle.
