Now, read her own sentence carefully: "I should have known better than to let her leave her backpack in there."
She's telling you the bag wasn't locked. That's her own account, and it's the checkable, useful part: an unlocked locker at a busy public gym lost its contents.
She ends by asserting that the thieves are staff. I'm not repeating that as fact. It's an inference from a theft she didn't witness, nobody else on this record mentions anything similar, and accusing named or unnamed employees of theft on that basis isn't something I'll do.
The advice that survives is hers, minus the accusation: lock your locker, and don't leave a watch and a phone in one at all. That's true here and true everywhere, and it's what her review is actually evidence for.
The Membership Mix-Up
A member of ten years or more, in July 2019, one star: "Been going 10+ years and they say my membership is expired. So we fix the problem supposedly and I come in and they let me through. Now today I go in and they don't let me through saying my membership is expired. I say that's fine I'll fix it tomorrow. However, they say I need to go fix it now and that I am not allowed in. 20 minutes drive to get there and the manager was very stubborn."

The Other Side
A daily member in May 2019: "The staff is very friendly and many of them greet me by name, since I'm there every day. The facilities are always clean, and since I go when it's not very busy, I never have trouble finding a place to work out."
Every day, greeted by name, always clean, never waiting for equipment. That's a completely different gym from the one in the one-star reviews, and both accounts are probably accurate. A regular at a quiet hour and a visitor with an unlocked locker experience different buildings.
There's also a five-star from June 2019 that reads, in full, "Grand daughter playing basketball." So there's a basketball court.
