Our son attends Taegeuk Taekwondo North, and we are truly grateful for the positive impact it has had on him. Master Kim is absolutely amazing. My 12 yr old joined to help gain confidence and learn a bit of self defense as he was getting bullied. Master Kim has always made him feel comfortable and confident every class. Would definitely recommend especially for kids who are just starting out!
My children used to attend the old west location, but we had to move due to the building’s condition. We were given two options: Terwillegar and Windermere. At first, we were very hesitant about continuing, especially because of the distance and the change of instructor. Choosing Windermere was actually suggested by Master Kim because of the larger space, but we were still unsure whether to continue or not. Today, I can proudly and honestly say that we have absolutely no regrets. From the very first day, I noticed a huge difference at Windermere thanks to Master Cha. He is someone who perfectly combines discipline and fun. He is very strict when it comes to teaching and coaching, yet he creates such a positive and enjoyable atmosphere that the kids never want to leave the class and always look forward to the next one. From day one, Master Cha made my children feel truly welcome. He doesn’t only focus on teaching techniques, but also places great importance on behavior—respect, especially respect and appreciation for parents, self-confidence, focus, independence, body language, and balance in every movement. What truly stands out is how attentive he is to even the smallest details. He gives each child individual attention during the class, making sure everyone is progressing. At the end of each session, he personally checks each child’s abilities and provides feedback in a positive and encouraging way, taking the time to speak to every child individually. With Master Cha, both my children and I are learning and enjoying the experience. A big thank you to Master Kim for placing our children in such safe and caring hands like Master Cha. We will definitely continue with you until our children become champions in Taekwondo 💪🏻
