I wanted to start pole for years, but struggled with body image and anxiety about an exercise that is so physical when I had so little fitness. When I found out there was a studio so close to me, I decided to go for a 'come-n-try' session and I am so, so glad I did. 9 months later, I do two classes with the studio a week (and the occasional flex session when I can fit it in!), and I am now stronger than I have ever been. During lock down, they even continued training over Zoom so their students wouldn't miss out. The instructors have a focus on strength and flexibility, rather than just looking good in the mirror. They're fun and knowledgeable, and always put safety above everything else. I have met some really lovely people through this studio and I would encourage anyone who has always wanted to give pole a try but hqve been scared to give this studio a try.
