Fantastic gym. Everyone is very friendly even though my spanish is not great. The gym is well maintained and organized and has everything you need. The trainers Eduardo and Joel are fantastic. Highly recommend.

My first visit was very rough. There was no introduction to how to use the machines, there was no tour to let you know where things were. I'm still learning Spanish so it's mostly my fault but only the man who took our money was kind to us. Everyone else looked at us with angry faces like we did not belong. I regret paying for a full month.
Tourists be careful!!! Dishonest staff. When you go they claim to be signing you up for 2 or 4 week pass but then takes your credit card number and put it in a computer and sign you up for a monthly recurring membership without your authorization or knowledge. This is done so the employee can dishonestly hit their monthly signup numbers. This gym does not offer a one month pass. Then comes the nightmare of trying to stop the recurring charges. Capital One said there is "nothing they can do" because I had agreed to be charged monthly which isn't true. 2 stars because Smartfit is working with me to stop the charges, but I would recommend tourists seek another gym and never give your credit card information always pay cash or in a terminal, otherwise the merchant can keep charging you. There is another gym in the same building go there. Don't pass your credit card information to anyone in Lima, be careful, and only go to gyms where you can pay cash or at least use a terminal to prevent recurring charges. If you are scammed in Lima by this establishment or another one google "Indecopi" where you can file a report with the authorities.
Avoid signing up as they will continue taking money from your account after cancelling. I asked the staff several times on how and when to cancel and did exactly what they advised, but yet I was still charged more than what I was supposed to pay. Also you will get absolutely zero help from their customer service.
