How often do you say "I am blown away by the service"? Today I get to say I am completely blown away by the service from Monroe in South Africa. Yesterday, they received a call from a fitment company in Jhb saying the front left shock had snapped, but the customer now lives in Cape Town. I was immediately called by Ettienne in Jhb and Wehan in CT, both super professional and with clear next steps. Today, Wehan went out to inspect the car, and asked Tonnesen Motors in Diep River, one of their large customers, if they could refit the front shocks as the fitment company in Jhb has no branch in CT. I got the call before 3pm, my car was fitted and ready for collection. That's genuinely impressive service! No BS, no run-around. Thank you for going above and beyond, I am grateful.

I hereby would like to extend my gratitude towards Philip Lutz and Michael Hayward at Monroe Shocks. They are completely focussed on customer service excellence and provide nothing less than the best quality products. I most definitely would recommend that anyone can trust their product quality. Monroe shock absorbers THE BIG FAIL SOUTH AFRICA ????????? 5 year warranty is not worth the paper its printed on . I purchased x4 shocks for my vehicle , within 12 months 3 of the 4 failed . After a long debate Monroe decided to replace x3 .. I wasn't feeling to comfortable and did not have faith in the x1 shock that was not replace so i purchased x1 on my account ?? within another 11 months both rear shocks failed again ? After another plea the x2 rear shocks were replaced. Within another 9 months the x2 rear failed again. Monroe made it clear now that not going to honor their promise to the consumer and competitors in the motor accessories camp ? The response of the technical area manager of Monroe was as BIG a fail as their product that should and is a safety critical item. His attitude was definitely not one of any safety concerned and not in the best interest of his paying consumers . The matter was addressed by the tires & shock fitment center to the Monroe area manager explaining that this matter were going to the ombudsman --- His response were a prompt , arrogant " Go if you want to ' AND BY THE SOUND OF THAT IT'S NOT THE FIRST TIME MONROE SHOCKS HAS BEEN IN THIS POSITION ? Monroe shock absorbers and after service should not be trusted or considered when making a safety critical purchase for your family motor vehicle

Had a strut fail in 5 weeks just outside the free returns window now they tell me I have to remove it from my car to send it back before I can get a replacement so essentially disabled my vehicle and miss work the whole time I'm waiting on the part this is a hassle and a joke and a way for them to get out of warrantying their junk

Bought shock. Not even 6 months down the line had Michael from Monroe come out and test it. Up to that moment excellent service. Few months later got them tested at the same place and the told me it's worn. Need to replace. I only did less than 6oookm on the clock since I bought and installed them. December 2020 took them back got new ones paid to get them taken out and replaced. Michael said few days he will reply. 6 month later we now in June and I am still waiting for his reply. Send a what's app today. He have read it but still no reply. Can not complain about service....
