Went in with a Guest pass. Lots of great workout equipment here as well as a pool, and some less traditional workout tools like tractor-tire flips. Plus there are instructor-led classes too. The changing rooms need a little TLC, which could be a deal breaker for some people, but overall a decent spot for a variety of fitness options.
While I loved the location the membership fee was just too much. Canceling the membership is what is driving this review. I was charged the annual fee the month after cancellation. Even after calling I was then charged the monthly fee. I never received a refund despite being told it would be taken care of. I had to get my bank involved to block payment. Needless to say super frustrating and completely preventable through a small amount of customer service.
BUYER BEWARE - While I personally have not had any negative experience, I have been witness to the absolute nightmare that my partner is XPeriencing simply trying to cancel her membership. It is the classic sheisty gym move - take your credit card info, keep charging you after you cancel, make it impossible to get your money back, make everything as difficult and complicated as possible for no reason. Also one time she was there the staff couldn’t even figure out how to get the treadmill working. Any response, Xperience? Would love to give you a chance to correct this.
Been a member for a long time, I’d be hard pressed to find a more average gym for the price. Started advertising this gym as a “premium gym” after closing all other locations… they got a new hip thrust machine and that’s the most I’ve seen since my membership increase. Paying more for a gym that hasn’t done anything to improve it since bumping up the rates is insane. Machines are constantly broken, pads disintegrating, free standing benches are missing components. If you’re looking through reviews in the new year for a gym, stay away from here. You can get more bang for your buck elsewhere. Seated hamstring curl machine was broken beyond the point of use today, after being not 100% in working order for months and months and could’ve been prevented time and time again. Pissed me right off, prompting this review. Maybe the owner will see this and actually take some of these suggestions
A 69.99 basic membership apparantly means around $97 (feels like bait & switch)... being transparent isn't exactly a business practice at this gym. Machines go really long periods without maintenance & idk why we don't have paper towels in our bathrooms.
