I had such a fantastic experience dropping into this gym while travelling. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and genuinely supportive. Chrissy, who led the class, was absolutely amazing. She immediately made us feel comfortable, even though we were just passing through. Her energy, encouragement, and attention to the class really stood out. She struck the perfect balance between motivating and approachable, making sure levels felt included and confident. The class itself was well-structured, engaging, and a great workout. You can tell there’s a strong sense of community here, and that comes directly from the way it’s run and the people leading it. If you’re local or even just visiting like we were, I couldn’t recommend this gym enough. It’s the kind of place that makes you wish it was your regular spot!

Great gym, and if you’re after a personal trainer go see Dave! I started seeing him once a fortnight and now both my husband and I train with him several times a week. We’re loving it and really look forward to our sessions. He’s amazing - I’m way stronger and he has genuinely changed how my body feels and moves.

Can highly recommend! Went in there for a quick workout during the Holiday, Daypasses were no Problem the Gym is newly equipped with everything you might need for a solid session. Dave was wonderful, not just when I was there but I had forgotten a valuable item at the gym, and he didn‘t hesitate to send it to Auckland via Post, not self evident and much appreciated!

I am writing to enthusiastically recommend Dave as a personal trainer. I have been training with him for the past year, and the experience has been transformative. My initial goals were to lose weight, gain strength, and tone up, with a significant personal goal of achieving an unassisted pull-up. Dave has expertly guided me towards these objectives through a diverse range of exercises, carefully managing my initial weaknesses and previous injuries. By adhering to a consistent routine and trusting Dave's expertise, I have consistently achieved new personal bests and noticeable results. In the beginning, progress felt slow, but by persevering through self-doubt, I have experienced significant strength gains and visible improvements. Our sessions have been filled with laughter, moments of frustration, and ultimately, substantial progress. The highlight of my training to date was finally achieving my first unassisted pull-up! If you are considering a healthier lifestyle, I highly recommend Dave. He is both thoughtful and challenging, attentive to your limitations but always encouraging you to push beyond what you think you can do. I would like to formally raise a concern regarding the behavior of a young male at the gym, approximately 16–18 years of age, who stated he was from a place called Hapuku. He was noticeably short with brown, somewhat unkempt hair, and throughout the time I was present he was loudly shouting and making rude, disrespectful remarks directed at other members. This behavior was not only disruptive but created an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere for those trying to use the facility appropriately. A gym should be a space where people feel safe, focused, and respected, and this individual’s conduct clearly undermined that environment. I strongly believe this situation warrants immediate attention, and at the very least he should receive a serious and clearly communicated warning about his behavior and the expectations of conduct within the gym. If this type of behavior continues, I would expect stronger action to be taken, including suspension or banning from the premises, as it is unfair for other paying members to endure such treatment. Should no action be taken and the behavior persists, I would consider escalating the matter further, including involving appropriate authorities if necessary.
