Atal Gym, a sports center in Mehsana, India with both a gym and swimming pool, shows 4.3 from 127 reviews, and its five written reviews split sharply between strong praise for the swimming pool specifically and one detailed, serious complaint about children's summer class safety and hygiene.

A Serious, Detailed Complaint About Children's Class Safety

J P's review is the most substantial and concerning account here, and worth reading in full rather than summarized away: "I am totally disappointed with the facilities, coach and staff. I have enrolled my child in summer class for Rs. 2000, there is no safety and guidance provided for the children - they are nearly 4-6 years and some are above 6, one or two teachers are good, rest are just like a kid. Washrooms are so dirty and there is no one to take them to the toilets as they have to sit for 3 hours. Washbasin tap is not working, toilets are not cleaned... if you will ask for kids' break time, you will get an answer like there is no fixed break." She closes directly: "I want to ask management about hygiene, safety and guidance for the children. They are just kids." I'd flag this directly as a serious, specific complaint about supervision and hygiene standards in children's programming specifically - worth asking pointed questions about staffing ratios and restroom access before enrolling a young child in a similar class here.

A Positive, Detailed First Impression From an Adult Visitor

Mahendra Thakkar's review describes a different kind of experience: "I visited this place today and I got a good impression, I requested to visit and see inside the place and the staff allowed me for that. The staff members are cooperative and they provided me with required information. I think many people aren't aware about this good place, it should be advertised properly so people can get knowledge and participate in activities." That's a useful, independent account of staff being open and cooperative with a prospective adult visitor, distinct from the children's-class experience described above.

Consistent Praise for the Swimming Pool Specifically

Upender Pandey's review adds a balanced note: "Bit crowded but swimming pool is of good size and gym is well equipped. There is good gymnasium and it conducts camps for child very nicely." Shah Kinnari's review reinforces pool quality directly: "Very good sports centre, I do swimming classes there. Very clean water, very good coach, very good price, very good people." Panchal Niraj's review adds a final, brief confirmation: "The swimming pool water is very good, well maintained."

What This Pattern Suggests

I'd read this batch as pointing to a real, specific gap between the pool's water quality and coaching, which multiple independent reviewers praise directly, and the children's summer class supervision and restroom access specifically, which one detailed reviewer describes as seriously lacking. These may reflect different programs or different times of year rather than a single, uniform standard across everything offered here.

What's Missing

Nothing confirms whether the specific hygiene and supervision issues J P described in the children's summer class have since been addressed. No review states exact pricing beyond the Rs. 2000 summer class fee she mentions and Shah Kinnari's general "very good price" framing for swimming classes.

Who It's Not For

Anyone enrolling a young child in a summer or holiday class here without asking detailed questions first - one detailed, recent reviewer describes serious supervision and hygiene gaps specifically in that context. Anyone who wants a quiet, uncrowded pool experience, since at least one reviewer notes it can get crowded.
