Love the classes and instructors at Ocean Fitness. The classes are very popular and getting a spot may be an issue but the waitlist facility is very handy. Great pool, great sauna and great facilities upstairs. And I love the location as it is so close to the sea!
Top class facility in Ocean Fitness. Something to suit everybody in relation to individual needs and abilities. The staff are more than willing to help, and indeed, often go above and beyond their remit. I always find them friendly, and bearing in mind the early start and late finishing times, it should be appreciated.
As a gym it is fine - a bit run down and shabby in showers but fine. Main issue for me is classes - bookings open at 8am for the next day, by 30 seconds past 8 they're gone. Many mornings I've been on at 7:59, trying to book and still not got a class. They said they were looking into adding more classes but they haven't in the 4 months I've been there. I joined for the classes so it's a bummer when I rarely get to go to one.
Asked for their prices as looking to join new gym/pool in city. Would not give them to me without taking a tour of the facilities first?!🤯
Lockers difficult to use for anyone with vision difficulties and apparently some women think it's ok to enter the mens changing room just cause their husbands and kids are in there... no it's not ok, do better.
