Erith Leisure Centre

I’ve mainly visited Erith Leisure Centre for children’s parties rather than using the gym or swimming facilities, but my experience has generally been positive. The party setup is well organised, and the staff are friendly and helpful when managing groups of excited kids. The space is suitable for parties, and there’s enough room for activities without it feeling overcrowded. The kids always seem to have a great time, which is the most important thing. Facilities like seating areas and general cleanliness have been decent during our visits, although it can get a bit busy depending on the day. Parking and access are fairly convenient as well. I can’t comment on the gym or pool personally, but based on the party experiences, it’s a reliable venue for children’s events.

I’ve had a great experience at the gym so far and would highly recommend. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, with a good range of strength and cardio equipment. The staff (especially Elisa) are friendly and approachable, creating a very welcoming environment.

To whom it may concern I would like to share my heartfelt recommendations for Elisa, a staff member in the gym area of the centre and to express my belief that she is truly deserving of recommendation as staff of the year. As a 73-year- young member who visits regularly, I have many opportunities to observe Ellisa at work. She brings a warmth and kindness that is felt the moment you enter the space. Her friendly manner and encouraging words make people welcome and comfortable, whether they are longterm members or visiting for the first time. She greets everyone with genuine smiles that lifts the spirit and set a positive tone for the day. Ellisa, consistently demonstrates professionalism and respect in her interactions with all gym members. She is attentive and treats everyone with dignity. I also noticed that her dedication to maintaining a clean and safe environment. She regularly sanitised equipment and keep the gym area orderly, which contribute greatly to members comfort and wellbeing. Beyond her duties Ellisa create an atmosphere of care and community. Great centre, very friendly staff. Really good mix of equipment in the gym, which is kept super clean and everyone is well looked after by the instructors. I use the pool occasionally but mostly in the gym where Elisa and her colleagues are always there to encourage and help you get the best from the equipment. Always plenty of parking unless they have an event and then it can get awkward.
