I’d like to give some positive feedback about Mark at PureGym Redditch. in recent months I’ve noticed an increase in groups of younger members gathering around equipment, often spending more time socialising and messing around than actually training. This can be frustrating for other gym users who are there to train rather than socialise but also I have witnessed dangerous behaviour which could all too easily lead to injury. Mark has been proactive in addressing this issue. Rather than simply telling people off, he approaches them professionally, explains the gym rules, offers advice on training effectively, and encourages respectful behaviour. He does this in a calm and constructive way, even when some members react negatively to being challenged. It’s clear that Mark genuinely cares about maintaining a safe, welcoming, and productive environment for everyone who uses the gym. It would be all too easy for staff to ignore the issues as dealing with difficult situations isn’t always easy, but he handles these issues professionally and deserves recognition for it.
Took part in a back to back Lift & Hiit class on Wednesday with Mark. Couldn’t recommend these classes enough!!! Definitely felt like id worked hard & Mark kept them interesting which made the full hour go quite quickly, he will push you!!
Brilliant gym, probably one of best site I have ever been. The male changing room is spotless and well equipped with hair dryer. Staff help to clean the machine most of time I were there. Highly recommended and not too crowded at off peak hour. Parking is free onsite and plenty of space
Everything about the gym is ok except for mark perry one of the managers he is very smug and is obviously abusing his power against little boys. Maybe put the gym to some use mate u need it.
Tidier than your typical PureGym. Can get busy even in the middle of the day although parking is normally not too bad. The climate control is too cold, not sure if it was because of the front doors being propped open but it was extremely cold over winter especially in the vicinity of the entrance. In contrast the showers are too hot and the temperature can't be adjusted. The men's changing room is too small, not enough lockers or benches to get changed. The music is bad and while I don't think it's actually ai it certainly sounds like ai: you'll struggle to recognise any songs. There are two chest fly machines.
