Great location with convenient access to the train and a nice workout space. I would definitely recommend this YMCA if you’re in town! If you have a membership through another YMCA branch, be sure to check with the front desk before your visit, as they only allow a limited number of visits each year.
We took our son here for summer camp, and I cannot stress how much fun he had, and how much he learned! Arts and Crafts, music, social interaction, and SWIMMING! He was afraid to try at first, after a few days he couldn't wait to get back in the pool! The staff are friendly and go above and beyond for these kids and to help the parents. They put on a fantastic showcase at the end of each session. Highly recommended for kids of all ages!!
I’ve been a member of the McBurney Y since November 2025. The locker rooms are spacious and the sauna and pool are inviting. The people are friendly and the staff is very helpful and kind. I wish I joined this Y years ago! Highly recommend for people of all ages. The spaces are beautiful and the vibe is casual and friendly!!! This is a gem for the community!
A lovely place that truly feels like home. The atmosphere is warm, calm, and very well organized, which makes both kids and parents feel comfortable. My children really enjoy their classes here, especially swimming and boxing. The instructors are great, and the overall environment is positive and supportive. Highly recommended for families looking for a welcoming and enjoyable activity center for kids.
I used to love this place but today was my last day to play pickleball till Oct. I pay 129 a month and they same lady who was complaining about me at the last session which I did nothing wrong. Today they moved my paddle six times as I was waiting in line to play the lady obviously was being a Bully I complained about it from desk I got asked to leave because I said the f word while speaking and then management started making excuses on things that didn't happen and were irrelevant. He even followed me into the shower room to confront why I was upset said he was going to call the police I said go ahead I'm taking a shower. He felt disrespected so did I they should never allowed the whole situation to arise like that at all they need to have it monitored. If people do things like that soI can't play I want all my money back. I am contacting an attorney I will not be bullied and harassed by others and it's acceptable by management because th don't have the staff to handle the pickleball courts.
