Power Shack Gym

I have been a long-time member of the Power Shack Gym in Hilliard. Though I am primarily a runner, I use all available equipment to build muscle to maintain my endurance. When I have had to deal with unfortunate injuries, it became a rehab center, getting me back to regular activities sooner. I have seen individuals come and go, but I love the consistency of the facility. There are a lot of good people there!

Been going here for around a month now and am very satisfied. It is a tad bit pricey, but they have every price of equipment you could need. They play great music 24/7. Gym and locker rooms are kept clean. The vibe is always great in there and it does not get packed. I have lifted at a lot of different gyms in Columbus and this one is definitely my favorite.

Avoid this place if you value basic courtesy. I was visiting from out of town and stopped by to ask about purchasing a day pass. During the conversation, I briefly mentioned and offered to show them the FTNSS app, which helps connect travelers to gyms in new cities. Instead of a simple "not interested," the response was dismissive and unnecessarily rude. I understand not every business wants to engage, but there's a respectful way to communicate that. First impressions matter, especially in hospitality and fitness. Unfortunately, this one was disappointing.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS GYM!! There's no way to cancel your membership. Talk to the front desk and they'll send you to corporate, talk to corporate and they send you to a third party processing company, talk to them and they'll send you back to Power Shack. They'll keep charging you no matter what you do. Shady business practices, beware.
