When I began my search for a HYROX gym, Sweaty Palms ticked a few of my boxes. A couple months into training and I could not be happier to have had the chance to be part of such a wholesome, community. Being part of this community and having Jordy as a coach has far surpassed my expectations. From excellent communication and a lovely facility to fun, sweaty classes and expert advice, Jordy really is the a Superstar coach. Thank you Jordy! For all that you are and all that you do. I would could not be happier to have you as my coach and point of reference for all things fitness.

I discovered Jordy 6 months postpartum feeling the lowest I have ever felt. Exercise terrified me and I was 18kgs overweight. From my first private session I felt so inspired and supported. It’s been a year and half, I’ve lost 15kgs and I couldn’t be more grateful to have found the best coach and mentor to help me back up and thriving in my fitness journey. From not being able to do a single sit up to pushing 120Kgs on a sled and competing in my third HYROX! Thank you Jordy and Sweaty Palms for giving me my strength and motivation back. 💜

Sweaty Palms Fitness Club is exactly what I needed, without even realizing it at the time. What started as a trial class has now become my favourite part of the week — especially when we have a class with Jordy. The classes are amazing and there’s a great variety, from strength and HYROX to Pilates and Hybrid classes, so you can always choose what suits you best. The gym is small enough that you get proper personal attention from the coaches, who really know what they’re doing and genuinely help you improve. Since joining, my fitness has gone to a whole new level and it even inspired me to sign up for my first HYROX. Highly recommend Sweaty Palms to anyone looking for a supportive and motivating gym environment!

I drive all the way from Blouberg because Sweaty Palms is simply the best gym in Cape Town. It’s like having a personal trainer but you in a group class. The owner’s Pilates background means her attention to detail, form, and adapting programs to your goals is unmatched. I am doing things now I never thought I would be able to do. Not only has SP built my strength but also my confidence. Whether you’re starting out or training for a competition, here you get real results, a welcoming community, and a personal touch. No intimidation, just incredible value for money. Highly recommend!
