Not allowed in as I am a man. No problem with that. If this business wants to promote healthy activity in women then all the better. It's a shame they don't show the same courtesy to pedestrians & wheelchair users. They have a display board which they constantly prop up in the middle of the pavement & sometimes on the dropped kerb used by wheelchair users. I have on a few occasions seen disabled people have to either move the board themselves or ask someone else to move it for them. Absolute lack of respect. They need to show a little more consideration for pavement users and place their sign out of the way of the dropped kerb. Update 23-12-19. Well done & Thank you Shapers. The board is now more conveniently placed for people with mobility issues. Can't comment on the quality of the Gym, but I can say at least they listen to peoples concerns & act on them.

Such an amazing place! not only do you get the chance to go to the gym with suppport ( no extra cost) you get FREE 1-2-1 sessions! so you are constantly saving money The staff are perfect for whatever you need help with as well as looking after you every step of the way. Classes are 7 days a week and are included in the membership, with different classes ranging from Dance to boxing and leg bums and tums and body conditioning you will get an all over sweaty body workout!

I really dislike this gym. 1) 12 month contract, no ifs or buts - this is so unnecessary in an age where the majority of gyms have options for a monthly rolling contract. If you decide you don’t enjoy the experience you can’t leave. 2) Such a small space - the decor is visually unappealing and I feel like I’m working out in someone’s front room. The space also smells strongly of cheap air freshener which makes me feel extremely nauseous and impacts on my workout. 3) Limited equipment - The weight machines are pretty basic and there is literally one of each machine. There’s a circuit of 7 machines, 1 treadmill and a small area for floor exercises. This means they limit your time on the 1 bike to 1 minute and I’ve often had to wait for the single treadmill. 4) The opening hours are...stingy, especially for over £30 a month. I normally like to work out before work but they open at 8:30. They also close at 20:30, so I can’t fit in a post-work workout if I finish work late or just feel like a late session. Overall I think it would be good if you want a weight loss club and need lots of supervision and encouragement because the staff are friendly. However if you’re looking for a proper gym STAY AWAY. And read the contract thoroughly before signing - I am now stuck with expensive monthly payments for the next year and so cannot afford to join a different gym even though I get anxiety just walking through those hideous pink doors. The so-called personal training was someone taking my measurements and then telling me to do 10 reps on each piece of equipment. I could have done that myself. Absolutely not worth the price. If you’re looking for a gym to join, do yourself a favour - there’s a new gym in Plumstead which looks to be better in every way.
