Zap Fitness 24/7 Newstead

While I continue to go to this gym there is often weights missing and a general lack of upkeep. Especially the small plates tend to go missing or accumulate in one area of the gym quite frequently. Edit: upgraded my review because I got a response. Will upgrade to 5 stars if it is fixed.

Equipment is out dated and many machine's are out of order for month's on end. The last few months there have been a lot of spiders and there are always ant's on the water fountain. There are adds on the TV's about joining Zap premium however, there isn't a premium gym for 200km. Zap Gym's in Burnie, Devonport and Hobart have had upgrades but all 4 gyms in Launceston have been forgotten about.

Good! There is a wide variety of equipment and if for some reason one break down it's always fixed pretty quick. Also is a 24h gym which helps lots with odd working hours. The only improvement I would suggest is on the changing rooms/showers. Frequently they are not very clean and there is not room for more than one person. Another suggestion I'd make would be to offer some fitness classes!
