The Gym Group Bristol City Centre

I’ve been coming here for about a year after moving closer to the area and wanting a better gym than Lux. My fiancé and I tried out this gym and we ended up staying for the included classes, the amazing PTs, and the lively atmosphere. I’m getting married in a few months and Wayne has been amazing in getting me in my wedding body era. I started to get to know him from the classes he teaches and knew he was the best person to help me tone my body for my wedding dress. It’s been a few months in and I can definitely see the changes. The gym community is amazing, we have a group chat and we try and meet once a month! It really is amazing to have all these people working towards a common goal and I couldn’t ask for a better community and gym.

Since joining The Gym Group City Centre back in December, it’s been a brilliant experience. The equipment is state of the art whatever your goals are, they’ve got the machines to help you get there. The team and trainers are amazing. The gym is always spotless; you’ll regularly see the trainers in their free time wiping down machines and making sure everything’s clean and safe for everyone. They’re friendly, approachable, and genuinely care about the people training there. I’ve never had a bad session. If you’re looking for a gym that ticks every box, The Gym Group City Centre is the place to be.

Absolutely a great place to work out .. I just did a day pass and it was worth it. The gym is very clean and tidy, everybody’s friendly and 90% of everything you need for full body workout it’s available. The layout is nice, and I like the security of the Pin entry and exit. I brought a padlock for my locker… The only reason why I gave it four stars is because they don’t have enough cardio focusing on stomach and abs !! Nevertheless, nice Gym.

Yet another day with more members complaining about this toilet in the gym which honestly speaking ruins the experience in it’s entirety. The toilets are in an embarrassing state and condition. Cleaners as mentioned before simply cannot be bothered. We’ve taken a video and images of the broken taps, filthy waterway area as well as the clothing hangers being all over the place. The Cleaners need to understand that sure it’s difficult, but people pay considerably higher prices than usual at this gym to get the seamless and great experience paid for! Especially for the more higher priced memberships like the ultimate which doesn’t come too cheap. Video has been taken very early hours in the morning , meaning it’s even worse in the later hours. Oh dear !

Just wanted to state the toilets again have been a let down. It’s really unfair that premium prices are paid for a city centre gym and yet the toilets and below standards! This includes the surrounding areas as well. During my morning workout before work I had issue with the gab between the hand sanitisers and the sink to be filled with sewage like waters with black little seeds in them, almost made me vomit. The hangers for the clothes placed in accurately that you spend your valuable time moving things across. Really unfair that even premium Ultimate members have to also experience this. Especially given the location in dead centre location! This gym needs more cleaning and more maintenance , particularly around the toilets. We are willing to take our complaints like previous members have mentioned to the owners or complaints departments. It’s just not good enough. I am sorry 😔
