Four of the five reviews here are from visitors passing through Murcia. That's not a coincidence, and it tells you exactly what this box is good at.
CrossFit Vivobox is on Avenida de Alicante in Murcia, Spain. It shows 5.0 from 140 reviews, running through February 2026.
They Answer Instagram
A visitor in December 2025: "Super friendly welcoming box. Would highly recommend anyone visiting who wants to crossfit to do a drop-in! We contacted the box via Instagram and asked multiple days if we could join the wod and at what time. The box is big with plenty of space for open gym training. There are also showers although we didn't use them. You can park your car in front of the box for free. And most important the trainers are nice and make an effort to also explain the wod in English."
A visitor in September 2022: "We visited Murcia from the UK and went to a class at this gym. David was incredibly responsive to our texts and helpful when we were there. We were only planning to attend one class, but will definitely be coming back again before we leave Murcia."
Three years apart, and both say the same thing: they messaged ahead and got a fast, useful answer.
That's the whole product for a travelling athlete. You don't need to know the box is beautiful; you need to know someone will reply and tell you when the WOD is. Two independent voices, three years apart, confirm they do. That span matters more than either review alone, because it means it's how the place operates rather than one keen morning.
Free parking in front. Showers exist. Both from December 2025.
English Is Actually Spoken
A member in January 2025: "My boyfriend and I came to Vivobox when we just moved to Murcia. We didn't know anyone and had never done crossfit before. We were welcomed with open arms, David and Bryan took the time to make us feel comfortable. In addition, they took the time to explain everything in English to us during each training. They also invited us to get to know people and it felt like a close community, nice to be part of. So highly recommended, even if you don't speak Spanish that well yet."
Two things at once there, and both are rare.
She'd never done CrossFit before, and she'd just moved to a country where she didn't speak the language well. Those are two separate barriers, and she's telling you neither stopped her.
"During each training," not once. That's an ongoing practice, not a courtesy on day one.
English is confirmed independently by the December 2025 visitor. Two sources, eleven months apart. If you don't speak Spanish, that's what you came to this page for.
David
David is named in January 2025, September 2022 and February 2026. Bryan is named once.
A visitor in February 2026: "Excellent CrossFit. David is very welcoming and a great coach. Come here when visiting Murcia."
Three and a half years of the same coach being named. That's a signal no single review could give you: he's still there, and he's the reason people write.
Which is also the caution. My hypothesis, and it's a hypothesis: what you're buying is David's welcome. The 5.0 from 140 reviews is real, but a box rated by visitors who got a warm reception on a Tuesday is being scored on hospitality, not on programming. Nobody here describes the training itself.
The Hours Are Strange
07:15 to 22:00 Monday to Thursday. 07:15 to 21:00 Friday. But Saturday and Sunday show 09:00 to 10:00 only.
One hour at the weekend. I don't know why, and I won't guess. It might be a single class slot, it might be a data error. If you're dropping in on a Saturday, message them first, which is what everyone here did anyway.
What's Missing
No prices. Not for a drop-in, not for a membership, and drop-ins are clearly the model.
Nothing about the equipment or the programming.
Who It's Not For
Anyone wanting a weekend session without checking first.
Anyone who needs to know what a drop-in costs before travelling.
Av. de Alicante 217, 30007 Murcia. The site is vivoboxcrossfit.com and the number is +34 676 80 83 59.
