This gym and the people are very nice. Specially the trainer yudish. He is a very humble, kind and helpful person. He has been helping me lots with my training from his side. I came from canada to mauritius my first time, haven’t seen any trainer help someone for free. Yudish is very kind to help me without me asking him. Would definetly recommend this gym just because of yudish. If you are reading this message yudish THANK YOU for everything!!😊

Tried several gyms gym life the best, room temperature, user friendly, not overbearing with people,I get 100% respect from everyone, the gym always open even holidays. The equipment is good could be better with a frew addition. But overall i truly enjoy this gym. And by the way best trainer i met here in Mauritius.

Not great value for money. The gym has limited equipment, a small workout space, and an extravagant membership price relative to other gyms on the island. The fingerprint scanner is frequently out of order, and the men’s bathroom is poorly maintained. Bathroom door in the men's section has been broken for more than a year, and the shower is often out of order. There's only 3 showers, and 2 of them are always having issues. Ladies in the front desk are also quite unprofessional. The majority of coaches on the floor are generally friendly, but the head coach, Yudish, comes across as condescending and sometimes borderline rude. When asking him for advice, he often seems reluctant and disinterested, even with new members. Other coaches are more approachable. The only real advantage is its location within the Intermart complex, close to some Cybercity offices. If possible, I’d recommend going to MyFit Trianon or Caudan instead, they have much more space and a wider range of equipment. Your money is better spent elsewhere. I’ve been a member for a year and a half, and during that time, there have been no meaningful improvements, only superficial changes, like adding a large “Gymlife” sign at the front, which doesn’t benefit the members at all. I will not renew my membership this month.

I have mixed feelings about Gym Life Ebene. On one hand, the gym amenities are actually pretty good, the machines are decent, and the receptionist is very friendly. However, the coaching staff's attitude is a major issue. ​As someone with 4 years of training experience, I understand gym etiquette and proper rest protocols. During a recent session, I was following my standard program and resting between sets. The gym was not busy, and I was not holding anyone up. Despite this, a coach (short, big belly with short spiky hair) approached me with an aggressive and condescending attitude. He told me I was "taking too much rest" and "training wrong," questioning my methods simply because I take a few minutes of rest between sets. ​He then instructed me to move to a corner of the gym to train with weights so I wouldn't "disturb" anyone even though the bench I was using was not needed by anyone else. Being treated like a nuisance and "put in a corner" for simply training is both unprofessional and dehumanizing. ​It’s a shame that a paying member is subjected to this kind of power trip. If you value a respectful, professional training environment where you aren't belittled , I would suggest looking elsewhere. This is not how you treat people who are there to workout and support a business Below attached are pictures to show where I was and where I was forced to move I have attached photos below to show the the empty bench I was using and and then the 'corner' I was told to move to.These images clearly show there was no 'disturbance' to justify the coach’s hostile behavior.

I asked some info for a friend, as he is overweight. Been chasing him for a while now.but doing diet n gym alone is not easy in this situation. The person needs the good advice and follow-up. So the dear mr. Yassine answered rudely saying he is already overbooked.does not have time for this type of person. I will not recommend this coach. It seems that he cares for his money only.
