Dolnośląskie Voivodeship at a Glance
Dolnośląskie (Lower Silesia) is anchored by Wrocław, the country's fourth-largest city with roughly 640,000 residents and one of the strongest student populations in Poland (more than 100,000 students spread across the University of Wrocław and several technical universities). That student base drives an unusually strong 24/7-gym and boutique-studio ecosystem.
The voivodeship also includes Legnica, Wałbrzych, Jelenia Góra, Głogów, Lubin, Bolesławiec and the spa towns of the Kotlina Kłodzka - all of which have chain or independent fitness facilities.

Practical Tips
- Peak hours: 17:30-20:30 weekdays. Wrocław's central clubs stay busier later than Warsaw's because of the student population.
- Off-peak: 09:00-13:00 and late evenings (21:00+) at 24/7 clubs.
- Tram access: Wrocław's tram network connects directly to most chain clubs - line 3, 10 and 33 are useful for fitness commuters.
- Benefit cards: Multisport and Medicover Sport widely accepted.
- Mountain option: Jelenia Góra and Karpacz have smaller studios plus hotel gyms - handy during a Karkonosze ski or hiking trip.
