Execution Steps
- Set your stance and brace so your feet are staggered and your core is tight before initiating the pull
- Pull the handle down and across your body toward the opposite hip, leading with your hand while keeping the slight elbow bend fixed
- Squeeze the chest at the bottom of the movement, where your hand crosses in front of your opposite hip
- Pause briefly at peak contraction, feeling the working-side pec fully shortened
- Return the handle to the starting position under control, resisting the cable's pull back out to the side
- Complete all reps on one side, then switch arms and repeat

- Keep the elbow bend constant throughout - don't let it straighten into a press or over-bend into a curl
- Lead the movement with your hand and forearm, not with your shoulder rolling forward
- Brace your obliques to prevent your torso from twisting toward the working arm
- Keep the working-side shoulder down and back, not shrugged toward your ear
- Control the return; don't let the weight stack yank your arm back to the start
