This place is amazing small , great classes all of the instructors are fabulous very knowledgeable, easy to follow classes all of them with clear instructions and modifications, they offer a variety of times and classes from yoga barre pilates and even some on trampoline. I have been coming for about 8 months and everyone is very kind and helpful very clean calm environment. I have been very impressed. As this place continues to grow alot more classes are coming available and they really try to accommodate everyone. I have lost some weight and am alot stronger then when I started. Its very easy to start as a beginner and even if your a little older. Im in my late 40s and overweight and have been able to really grow here I feel so much better and starting to look better too thanks to empower gym.
So glad that Empower is here! Every class I’ve tried (the variety of classes offered is incredible!) the instructors are kind and welcoming and the class itself is challenging and fun. I look forward to every single class. Even if you’ve never done pilates or barre before - this is the perfect place to try it out!
Empower has been a wonderful addition to the Albany fitness community! (I mean... barre, yoga, pilates, stretch and strength, trampoline classes... what more could you want?!) Many boutique studios can feel intimidating but *not* Empower! The instructors have all been wonderful and supportive without making you feel uncomfortable (regardless of your fitness level!). The same can be said for your fellow classmates. You will see every fitness level and I've yet to meet someone who isn't friendly or encouraging. If you haven't tried Empower, you're missing out!
The best fitness studio I’ve found! The inside is so aesthetically pleasing, perfect for barre, yoga and Pilates. The instructors and classes are amazing, and I love how many class offerings they have.
So happy this place has opened up in Albany! I've never done barre and Kat has been fantastic! I'm finding such a community in these classes!
