It was my first time visiting, and the experience was excellent from the very beginning. I especially want to highlight Mireia's attention; she was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive at all times. She explained everything very clearly and made me feel very comfortable from the start. Definitely top-notch service. Highly recommended!
I have been going gym for the last 3 years, in France (First round, Freeness and Gigagym) and Sweden (Nordic Wellness), and I have never felt as good as in Anytime fitness Mataró. The gym is a middle size one, with the inconvenient of some machines missing, but this lack is more than compensated by an available, knowledgeable and competent staff proposing excellent group training and custom made training and diet plans. The ambiance there is very friendly and you would always find someone to talk with or to be helped by. Moreover, the place is always perfectly clean and ordered, with quality machines and installations. I would recommend this gym without any hesitation, and can assure you that this is the place you need to go if you want to reach your goals quickly without getting injured or bored. The truth is, I joined this gym because at first everything seemed perfect and very well maintained, but I've been going for a year now and many machines don't work or are broken (like the stair climber or the adductor machine, where you have to hurt your fingers to lift the weight because there's a screw stuck). With the number of people there and what we pay, why don't they fix the broken or damaged machines? And then I think there are too many people. It's a small gym, and if there are already 20 people, it's difficult to work out. Many times I've gone with my routine planned in my head and had to forget it because ALL the machines are occupied. There are too many people for the limited space, and you can't really get a good workout. Honestly, I think I'll go somewhere else, like a Pilates or barre studio. You pay more, but you're guaranteed to be able to exercise properly. At this gym, I've sometimes had to leave because there were too many people and not a single machine available.
This gym is the reason I stopped going to anytime, its the only one near, the personal trainer that works here has ego issues, he called head office to complain about me, and lied multiple times about what happened, he harassed me every time I went and when I said something about the harassment he called head office and fabricated a story , aslong as this person works there avoid at all cost
