Christiansburg Aquatic Center

Long- Detailed review ahead. Short answer this place is amazing. Long answer: I had a birthday party scheduled at another location (outdoors). With all of the weather (on Sunday 6/9/19) it became evident that outdoors was not an option. A friend of mine recommended we call the Aquatic Center in Christiansburg ( which by the way we had never visited) . We called and spoke to a very friendly man on Saturday that stated the unplanned parties were on a first come first served basis. So on Sunday we lined up at the door waiting for the pool to open. First thing, we were greeted with a smile from both ladies working the front desk. I was directed over to Amy to help with finding a location for my party. It became obvious she was good at her job because she was answering phones, responding to people talking to her on their little walkie talkies all the while helping the other cashier who I presume was new. She had about 25things ( okay maybe that is an exaggeration) being handed off to her yet handled all of them with a smile and professionalism. She also proceeded to (while we were decorating) come and check on us to see if we needed anything else. I did learn from my friend that she sometimes hosts birthday parties, however, I am not sure her exact position. Let me just say this, she deserves a raise and you all need to ensure that you keep her on your staff. If you managed to read this whole drawn out review I HIGHLY recommend the Christiansburg Aquatic Center and if you are looking to have a party there be sure you ask for Amy.
